hi guys been using coco on this last run and have run into all sorts of problems from yellowing early
on in flower to lose of leaves. leaving plants looking worst for were. which is not a good site to see.
so was thinking bout going bk to dirt and i have choosen slh from greenhouse. have i choosen i decent
enough strain. coz ive read that u can run it for 9wk but an extra for better thc production. coz dont
want to waste 9-10 with an end product which is not all that. not dissing ghsc by any means.just needs
a bit of perking up after all the problems ive had on this run. cheers guys peace!! plus any advice on this strain
would be very helpful,,,,,,, do i top or not top lst or not.... thinking bout vegging for around 2 months. also
gonna be using AN and 11 litre pots.

Do l.s.t., and your strain sounds great. Hazes are reportedly some of the great sativas. Run the last week in darkness to help produce more thc, I've read this is a good technique. Don't wait until the tricomes turn amber, as this means they are converting into cbn and cbd and are losing the majority of their thc content. 12/12 from seed works great, you can grow some great buds and significantly cut down on the time it takes to produce ripe flowers.

Slh grows tall and viney, so lst or scrog are good techniques to use on it, it'll cut down on all the potential popcorn buds it produces. I'd top it more than once and let the side branches catch up, top them all to the same height and aim to keep the canopy as even as possible.

ive got cutting of them which im going to veg for 2months maybe depending on plants size.
plus as u suggested im gonna lst them. how many plants would u suggest have for a 600watt light
for most productive yields. when do u suggest topping this nplant at what height. cheers guys for ur speedy replys

For most productive yields I'd say 6 plants do 100w each, with good training you can do 8. Top when it has 5 or 6 nodes and top back to node 4 or 5

Well, More or less plants doesn't exactly change the yield. the space and amount of soil you have them in and your techniques and attention to detail will. If less plants are given more space, and are low stress trained to produce more even tops and are bushier, they can produce as much as having several more plants would. I would think you could fit at least six l.s.t'd plants under a 600 watt light. Most likely you can even fit eight.

i aslo have height issues which leaves me approx 4 an half foot. will i still be able to get
6 plants under the light 7x5x3 7 foot lenght 5 foot high 3 foot wide.

thats what im worried about plus if plant stretches. but would u say possible to acheive say 2-3zips
with wot i have.space wise.

With cleverly placed ties you can, I would train them out to the edge of the pot, then around the edge of the pot. You'd probably bet better putting a screen up over the space and scrogging them, but if you done that you'd have to get a drip system rigged up

soz to sound dumb but how would i go about training them to the edge of the pot. say i veg for 3 wks then topped at 4-5 node
do i then start lst training.

Yh top them then when the new tops have grown a bit tie them down to the height of the side shoots, or if their not big enough tie them down as horizontal as you can get them without snapping the branch with string or a piece of coat hanger bent into a U shape and put that over the dranch and steak it into the soil/coco. As the top of each branch grows a few inches tie again and train them in any which way you please.
