i have supercropped 5 plants by squishing the stem then bending it over and tying it down. not sure if this is how its supposed to look. the stem on one looks as if its rotting at the joint. any info is appreciated!!!

I think they look fine buddy to be honest. It'll just take a few more days to see a significant growback.

I could be wrong though :T Only supercropped once.

well the story is that i threw this together the wrong way. i started off using regular bulbs so they stretched. cause all i had was a 400wmh but it was too bug for these. but i fimmed them before i supercropped so im not too sure if theyre gonna do so good. plus they were jsut transplanted.

Yes, they look fine, I trash my stems way worse than that when I super crop.

That bent part will end up getting really thick and be a lot more sturdy during budding.

The plants will recover and the yeiled will be better.it looks like it is rotting has it gone a yellow coulour this will harden forming a new joint and not the one you smoke.the plant will grow up the side of it's self they look ok don't worry great little trick to have under your sleeve.

thats good to hear.. but how much more effective is it compared to just topping. and will i have a problem because i fimmed the plant before i supercropped?

no you won't. Super cropping and fiming do different things for a plant.

Super cropping makes the stem nice and thick for big buds and helps with height problems. Fiming and topping make it so you have more than 1 main cola.

I top mine and super crop both.

It's going to be just fine. :weed:

yah when i did it, the joints where i bend split open a tad, so you could see into the stem. It will heal over time, it will look like its rotten but its alive and well :D

They are lying lol ;)

Supercropping you don't do that to the main stem dude......you kinda messed up......alot

You are supposed to wait and supercrop LOWER branches NOT the main.

Hope this helps, sorry.

Any branch can be supercropped. I do it to my main stems to help with height issues.

He's fine. :blsmoke:

im not some noob to growing, just supercroping. i did research and ive seen it done both ways. from what ive noticed it all depends on personal taste. i decided to do the main stem for height reasons also
