Supercropping Or Any HST to increase yield?

Hello everyone I'm back. Ive been gone for a while since my account got hacked. Anyways I have a question about stress on cannabis and increased production of yield, potency, and terpenes. Ive been doing a lot of reading on this subject recently. I know that super-cropping will increase yield because of a more even canopy and bid sites etc but my question is does the stress release more of a certain hormone in the plant to make it grow bigger, stronger etc? I also read that late in flower that if drought stress is induced then the terpene and cannabinoids will increase by a significant amount . My plants are in a 5x10 and I let them veg a bit too long and now I don't think Ill have enough room for them to flower without hitting the ceiling, so Ive been thinking about super-cropping them and bringing the height down. Ive always just let my plants grow naturally with the exception of some defoliation and trimming up the bottoms and topping a few times other than that Ive always been in the leave it the way nature intented it kind of growing.

From Experience have you guys been able to positively show that super-cropping increased your yield, terpene production and overall vigor of your plants vs not doing it? I mean I hear plenty of stories from friends that say man a moose or a deer ate my plant and crushed it and it came back and was three times bigger than the other ones, but just wanted to hear it from others on here as well.

Thanks everyone I hope you have a wonderful day.

probably neutral if done during veg, it really just is a tool for canopy shaping. The stress itself would probably negatively effect yield when done in flower (esp late) because they don't recover as easily/well

Supercropping definitely increases my yields. As does topping if you veg long enough for the topped stems to strengthen and elongate. As far as potency who knows? It would require analysis to know.
