I seem to see two differing sets of directions from Subcool. The first (Subcool referring to the Super Soil):
"Do not put seeds or clones directly in this mix. It is an advanced mix used in conjunction with base soil. It is used to place in the bottom of each finishing container and fully rooted established clones are placed in a bed of base soil that is layered on top of the concentrate. As the plants grow they slowly push their roots into the super soil drawing up all nutrients needed for a full cycle."
The second (quoted again from Subcool):
". . . the Super Soil concentrate is placed in the bottom one-third to one-half of the container and blended with the base soil. (With strains that require high levels of nutrients, well go so far as to fill ¾ of the container with Super Soil, but this is necessary only with a small percentage of strains.)"
The first suggests that you stick the young transplant directly into base soil. The second suggests sticking the young transplant in a 'blend" of Super Soil and base soil. I hope you see my confusion. Can you alleviate it?
Thanks for reading.
