sorry its the tail end of this grow but just wanted to share.

this grow was very laid back i didn't do much work at all. I really tested how easy easy growing is..

no name strain bag seeds

lighting: 800 watts of day light cfls

soil: 50% black gold mixed 50% decomped soil (pile wasn't added to for 7 years)
the mix felt great and smelled full of nutrients

i didn't have a ph tester or any temp gauges so it was all guessing and just letting things go as they went.

i sprouted 5 bag seeds (bs) in begining of august in one quart pots. they vegged in the natural sun light on the nice days but most the time indoors in the cfls under an 18/6 light cycle. They vegged for six weeks with no nutrients just tap water every 3 days no ph tests wer done

after the 6th week of veg i put them on a 12/12 light cycle with the same cfl lights. i transplanted from quart size pots to one gallon pots with the same 50/50 mix. No nutes, just tap water every four days. two lights burnt out so i now had 600 watts of daylight cfls.

week five of flowering i could spot the girls out and i only had two males out of the five plants.

after week six of flowering i still didn't have any nutrients and was just using plain tap water no ph tests done.
at the same time a friend of mine gave me a couple clones that were very stringy and thin off his outdoor girl but i decided why not and threw them into the flower room with the other three girls. it was the middle of november and it started to get cooler out.

week nine not much going on buds got double the size of week six but still wasn't much.. growing very slowly..

week ten i finally got some old nutrients from a friend.. it was a couple years old earth juice bloom very chunky had to shake and add some water to get loose enough to pour. i was putting a tea spoon in every two liters of plain tap water no ph test. two liters per plant every four days.

week twelve the buds nearly doubled in size since week ten. nutes really kickin in..

week fourteen the buds didn't get any bigger just got stickier and stinkier. i made a lighting adjustment. i took all the daylight cfls and put 400 watts of warm cfls

in week fourteen i also noticed my soil was nearly frozen which could explain no growth. it has been cold for a month at this point and i had the planters on the cold cement. i raised them up and gave them a slow amount of heat from a "plant light" its blue and warm so i just pointed that at the soil with insulation under the potters

three days later my soil seemed not as cold more cool on its way to being nutural room temp..

week sixteen i started to flush with tap water no ph tests still..

10 days later i put them in 48 hours of darknes

right now they are hang drying

please comment and question!
