Super bushy and Low plant - longer veg or flower?

I'm trying to figure out if I should let this plant grow a bit taller before I start to flower - it's first true leaves were around November 28th and I topped once & have been using LST methods to keep the longer tops outwards & to try and get it to a point where I can SCROG it. It's a really healthy plant in general, couple of heat problems in its infancy but has grown well since I created a constant ~75 degree environment. ~20-25% RH & under a dimmed 1000w MH bulb (dimmed @ 75%). It's in a 5gal smartpot.

I'd really like to try and get the ball rolling with this bad mambajammer. The leaves alone smell dank already. So basically should I veg longer to gain a bigger yield or should I start to flower and expect this to be decent sized?

I'm assuming it's a indica like mine. Mine and short and bushy too. I thought I stunted the growth by topping and doing LST. Im at week 6 veg and they're around 8-9" tall...

Yes, definitely an indica! Might have to make an adjustable height table or something for when I move sativa varieties in here.

it seems, you have enough space in there. I would let it grow for another 4-5 days and then flip.
