That ballast will not run a MH bulb. Most CMH bulbs run on an hps ballast, but I've never seen a 600W cmh. I've been running dual 400W cmh for yrs. Just installed my last new pair of Philips color master bulbs.

Upon doing some research that's not technically true. It depends on the bulb. A Pulse start MH will run on an HPS ballast.

I say throw the bag seeds in the trash personally. you start with unknown shit genetics theres a chance you wont get great results.

You can go to the single seed centre and get some awesome genetics cheap.

buy a mars 300 of amazon.. Its what I use

Get an 8 oz bottle of dyna gro foliage pro and dyna gro bloom.

a 12 quart bag of fox farm ocean forest (3 gallon bag)


Doing those things will be around 110$ and you'll be very happy with results. depending on strain you could easily get 4 oz dry of super funky smoke.

ohhh btw.... your first grow will pay for itself.. then every grow after that is basically the cost of a seed .. 10-15$


you could either go to lowes and buy 70$ worth of CFL's or buy the mars 300... the difference??? same price but the mars 300 would do you a hell of alot better.. better yield/less heat/ built in fan/// its literally a win/win/win.

I'm using bio thrive and liking it. My strong plant seems to love it too. Not sure whether I want a Mars 300, or a COB set up.... maybe just 2 Mars 300's.

Also doing bag see just to test things out.

thats cool I feel ya. COB's are badass. I personally dont have the know how to solder and put one together with drivers etc.. you can build an amazing cob for like 200$ though i know that.
yeah i only said dyna gro because u can get 2 8oz bottles for less than 20$.


I myself just got the General hydroponics GO Box off amazon shippd for 38$ .. I will be using the whole 8 bottles included in the GO Box.. one of those is what you're using (biothrive)

with 2 mars 300's you could do 4 damn fine plants or flower out a 4x4 area..

I use 2 leds lights together.. a 93 actual watt full spectrum UFO along with my mars 300.. I could flower a 3x3 area with my lights or do 3 good plants in 3 gallon pots.


I just use both lights on 1 single plant... Ill put the plant directly under the mars 300 then some of the side branches hang under the 93 watt ufo.. It works good.

My last grow was an auto flower (Auto Seeds Transiberian) and I got literally almost a QP dry weight off 1 autoflower in 5 gallons of soil. 88.3 grams to be exact.

If you do end up sometime buying some seeds. Use the single seed centre.. It is however pointless to buy 1 single seed on there. the shipping will costs same as a seed.. Best bet on TSSC is to spend 35$ you can get 5 seeds plus 1-2 freebies and shipping for right at 50$ thatway.

If you need any help with some good breeders/genetics I can help ya out with some info on strains that produce well/smell/taste great /good yields of fire amazing quality smoke.

good luck to ya. If for now you only want to grow one plant at a time (what I do) .... A Single mars 300 will do one plant awesome.. You could also grow 2 autos with a single mars 300.

My friend has a single mars 600 and he loves it.. he scrogs 2-3 plants with it and it works damn well for that.

This is the kinda results u can get with mars 300. This plant has had a rough life too. Its blue mystic by nirvana and i fed her this time with fox farm grow big/big bloom/tiger bloom and all 3 of their soluble powders (open sesame/beastie bloomz/cha ching)


This is her tonight (66 days flowering) I gave her last water she will ever have tonight.. drying out for 4-5 days then chop.

Yeah, looks sick bro. I'm not too worried about a male, if it's a healthy plant I'll use the pollen cuz I don't have room for mothers for clones. I've been looking at twisty treat seeds for the future. Interesting genetics for reasonable prices. And yeah, the GO stuff is 18 a bottle.

Not trying to be a dick.. But I'd try to start new seeds! Are you using pH'd water? Could be your problem. Over watering is a thing with cannabis, cannabis is part of the "weed" family. They need to be completely dried out and then soaked. Just some tips, happy growing =)

Looks by the picture, its an over watering problem, depending on where the light is, might get the light closer to that one instead of the other one, might dry it out a bit, then make your decision..

MARS HYDROs are the worst lighting solution available, this guy would be better off with a bunch of cheap screw in LEDs , MARS hydros are like 20% efficient and use the worst LEDs on the market (epiled). I'd recommend he use a HID light, biggest bang for your buck.
