hello everyone.

Im sure Like many of you guys, i ordered for the august freebie weekend at the attitude (ufo or wtf they call it) and I recieved short stuff freebies.

i havent had any thing good to say about autos in the past. but i havent really given them a sincere run either. the "super" auto i recieved sounds like it would be a interesting grow but im trying to get my sog set up in limited space with limited light.

....and this is a "sativa" autoflower. what do you guys think about this one. is it worth the half a square ft i would give it in my sog area to grow? i def. would be giving it only 12 hours of light, im not really wanting a large yield from a auto. it would be personal smoke since i dont think i could honestly take a ruderalis plant to any patient and expect them to want it lol

If your running other photoperiod plants in the same room I'd say hold off on the auto. They really need the extra hours of light to perform.

you need to run them on at least 18 hours of light unless you want to get a really small yeild........i think it worth it to reset the timer

The super auto was the Super Cali Haze? I received the August freebies too.. The SKH hasn't been officially released yet but the write up sounds great.. When I get round to growing I might try topping seeing as it is so tall, although this technique has been said to limit Autos growth so maybe I'll just try LSTing it early on.. looking forward to trying this one out too m8

I'm growing a super cali haze at the moment. Side by side with a Himalyan Blue Diesel. IMO, the SCH isn't great. Its very tall. One cola. The buds are taking FOREVER to mature. The HBD which I started at the same time is about 1/4 the size in height, much fatter and denser buds, and about another week to finish. As for the super cali haze, it is an auto no doubt, but I think it is like most sativas in that its very tall and takes quite a long time to finish. It seems it would be great for outdoors, but I wont be growing it indoors any time in the future. Didn't hurt it try it out, and I haven't sampled the smoke yet, so who knows, maybe it will be worth the wait and inconvenience of having to adjust lights etc to accommodate. My quick summary, if you can grow outdoors, then thats the way to go. If space and a quick finishing time are part of your objective, then I wouldn't bother with this strain.

The HBD on the other hand, seems to be absolutely perfect for indoors grows and those seeking shorter to average finishing times.

Super autos take as long as 12/12 non-auto plants.

I like autos, but I am not buying into the super auto craze just yet. I will wait for them to cut the time down.

As for it being worth it? It's a seed! Of course its worth it. ;)
