Sunmaster or Growlux?

I have a sunmaster super hps deluxe 600w and a Grolux 600w. Both seem pretty close on spec. The question is, am i gonna get better results using one or the other?
 
They are both the same output, I guess the only diff might be your lumnes. But I believe that would depend more on your bulb not your ballast. I don't think there would be a big diff either way really
 
Cheers mate. Next question, the sunmaster already has 2 crops under its belt, would the light quality have dropped enough to justify using my new grolux bulb?

hmmm u are the first person I have herd this from. I dunno why you would want to do that really tho, use it till it burns up. No sense in wasting the money, bulbs are not cheap.
 
check for both bulbs pur/par output. the one with the most is the one id use. lumens mean nothing to the plant. you have to think like a plant!

change your bulb for every crop mate.
the efficiency of hps bulbs do drop over time(i use the growlux bulbs).
