Sunday Driver

Hey All,

Late to start a journal, I know, but I figured to document the last part of my grow as I gear up to pop some seeds for another. Here are the basics:

Stage: Week 7 of Flower
Strain: Sunday Driver
Veg. Light: Fluence VyperX
Flower Light: Fluence Spyder2i
Room Temp: 85F
RH: 55-60%
VPD: ~1.19
C02: 1300ppm

Had the plants fishtailing a little through early veg into transition. They went from below sea level to +5k feet, from a T5 to the VyperX, there was a Thanksgiving day massacre performed by some inlaws(they fried the plants with too much EC in the nutrient solution). Anyways, they seem to have recovered for the most part. My biggest problem now is that I have to prop up some of my kolas with silicone wire -.-'

Enjoy the pics^^

First few weeks of veg I was underfeeding AND my soil keep spiking to 8+ PH(our tap water is SUPER alkaline)

I steadied the ship before Thanksgiving, but then went on vacation. I call this(pics below) the Thanksgiving Day Massacre: In-laws couldn't balance the PH in the nutrient solution. They proceeded to add PH up/down back and forth forever until they just gave up and fed it to the plants. Oof. You can see the die-off in two stages as they watered twice while I was gone.

Time passes and the plants are on their way to recovery. At this point I framed out a 8x4x8ft space. Hung the Spydr2i, supplemented C02, set up humidifier and dehu. I haven't needed AC as I've been controlling temp with my fan speed.

Trellised and flipped, the ladies are looking healthy... finally.

Growing well through the first few weeks of flower; still seem to be fighting an N deficiency.

Here we are, up to date. The room is FRAGRANT and I can't help but poke my head in every few hours to ogle the flowers.

Oh, and anyone is free to post on this journal. I'm super open to critique/expanding my knowledge base.

Thanks!

Woof.

Today I had to perform open heart surgery on the grow room. Walked by my computer to check the temp in the room. It was down to 70 degrees. Looked inside to see what was up; to my shock, the Spydr2i was out. Switched plugs, nothing. All that I hear is a faint buzz from the power supply.

From there I had to spring into action. Brought down the Spydr. Stripped the veg tent of lights. Re-mounted the Ray and Vypr power supplies in the Flower room. Hung the Rays and Vyprx Plus. Re-routed my ventilation and added a y-splice to accommodate the newly added AC unit.

Unexpectedly, the Vyprx Plus runs hotter than the Spyder2i. The AC unit is doing its job though and after a spike to 85 degrees, my temp is back down to its regular 80. VPD back to 1.11 and the ladies are freshly watered.

Thankfully the light is under warranty and, unless TX remains frozen, the issue should be resolved with the Fluence warranty department shortly.

Entering an extended ripening period^^
Girls are still stacking weight(had to throw up a 3rd trellis), and the trichs could use some more time. Sorry for some of the washout in the pics, some of those nugs are right under the light almost.
