I got the phantom 315 the other day from DH. They ended charging me $12 more than they quoted me. $364 is what I paid. They had to order it from either the one of the other stores or direct from hydrofarm. They told me to call on Sunday. More than likely it will be there Monday for me to pick up. I left them my number too.

Just transplanted 8 seedlings into a tent using sunsystems 315 with the 3100k lamp yesterday. Very glad I found this thread because this is the first time I have tried growing indoors and from what I have read from you guys who have experience with this light, it was a good choice. Hope I have the same success as everyone else. Cheers!!

are cmhs really 35% more efficient with the square waves? seems high when the bulb itself is less efficient that hps on a umol/J basis

well the gram per watt is 35% better.. with hps ive never gotten better than 1.2 gram per watt,, my first run with cmh i got 1.4 gpw and now im getting 1.5gpw..cmh is still pretty new to me, ive only had 3 runs using it, with time and expierience i plan to hit 1.75 gpw and i know its achievable... it seems the more 315's you run the better the gram per watt you can get.. i dont think a single 315 could ever get 2 grams per watt,, wile running 3or 4 315's or more 2 gpw is possible.. the more lamps you run the better...

What was your room size? Any heat problems? I have this light coming. Live in a small studio apt. Was planning on using a tent to grow 3x3. But the apts closet has a small 2x3 window going outdoors. Thinking of just growing in closet. Concern is someone seeing the duct kit in window. Anyone thanks. Nice harvest man
