Sun System Grow Beast Info

I am planning on upgrading my veg room to these combination fixtures and had some question about placement and coverage since I am new to LEC and DE bulbs.

I know that a 1000w DE bulb would need to be 3ft away from the canopy but I was wondering if a 600w DE bulb would pair well with the two 315w LEC bulbs in this fixture.

What kind of distance from canopy would I be looking for the 630w of LEC?

The DE bulb I plan on using is this one: 600w Solis Tek Metal Halide DE Lamp, what distance would be ideal for this bulb?

I've got an ac/de on a rail at 24 inches from canopy running at 1kw with ushio pro lamp.
If it weren't on a rail and stationary I might not be able to get away with that.

And before I'd buy a grow beast I'd seriously consider going with an ac/de hood and 600 watt solis stuff and adding an SS lec 315 on both sides.
I have something similar planned . Seems much more flexible/practical.

Would this be a cheaper route than getting the all in one hood?

I understand this would be more flexible but having 10 fixtures vs 30 makes more sense for me with limited space.

If the case is I would need to run them at different distances then I might have to rethink this idea.

Thanks for the info, it looks like the 600w DE will pair nicely with the two 315w LEC in this fixture.

Now I just need to figure out the foot print for these fixtures, I was planning on running 6 of these in a room that is 17x9.5x8 ft but not sure if that would be too much for the plants to handle.

I will be sealing the room and supplementing CO2 with a generator so that should allow me to use more light than usual.

The second room I was planning on running 4 fixtures, it is 15x9.5x8 ft.

Is there a way to calculate lumens per sq ft putting in account CO2 levels in a room?

One or two Grow beasts in a smaller room or tent for a hobbyist that wants to upgrade to cutting edge lamps tech are what these arw for. And yes....middle double ended should be a 600 watt...to keep a general distance equal to the 2 outside 315 watt cmh lamps. When you start getting into multiple cmh and double ended hps lamps fpr bigg er setup...you dont want a bunch of these....they are too close together. You want muliple spread out point sources of light for maximum canpoy coverage. Ditch the Grow beasts in my opinion of you need more than 2 or so. Or get a ligjt rail...but if you get into all that...just get separate double ended and cmh fixtures and do it proper. Grow beast all in ones are really leant for a grower that just wants to slap on or two in a small room and get on with it. All in one and done. They do kick major ass in that setting though.
