You work at Taco bell and cannot even afford to pay your single wide's utility bill. I doubt you own stock in anything.
No dude, I'm not a snowflake. I have an education and a checking and savings account. Even a safe deposit box!

No LIBTARD we don't think they're going to pay us more, We think we're more likely to pay ourselves more as our 401k's grow faster along with other investments we have procured through our working careers. Additionally, year-end profit sharing should not decrease and may increase, (unlikely). Then we retire comfortably, opening jobs for you whiny snowflakes.
Yeah
Let me paraphrase
You don't expect that you are going to get any more pay, all the extra profits will go into the hands of the wealthy.
Assuming you live in a low tax state, that extra $900 is all going to go into your 401k and over time, you'll get rich from the extra investment.

Problems with your assumptions:
If pay rises don't match inflation, that extra $900 is going to be lost to inflation.
That extra $900 is thousands in tax liability if you live in a high tax state.
Speaking of college fund, you better take another look at it. Congress is proposing taxing scholarships as normal income. In other words, accept $1000 scholarship, and pay $200-300 in taxes. If you are hoping for scholarships to help get your kid through, think 20% higher cost to you.

Something to chew on:
Since WWII, 4 Democratic party presidents and only 1 Republican party president has presided over above average performance in the economy. Democrats are better for your 401k than Republicans.
Trump's budget relies on 4%-6% avg annual real GDP growth. Oh, so this only has happened under two presidents (both democrats) about 50 or more years ago.

You are a Republican tool.

Well, not exactly. My 401k will be converted to a Roth so the taxes will be paid already and it will grow tax free. I don't pay for health care as I'm retired military so I paid with my over 20 years of service, and I'm not 70 but have essentially already retired.

fuck. let me re-explain because not everybody can have work history as a certified federal tax preparer, and I know not everybody studied accounting...

your overall taxes will go up because things that you NOW deduct will be eliminated. nothing to do with the type of investment you have. it is about how your overall taxable income is calculated. you do not have to believe me, but when the CBO says most people's taxes will go up by the year 2027 under this tax plan - it is true. the CBO doesn't lie.

well let me inform you that the VA department's health care infrastructure has been under threat of privatization for years, and when this tax plan explodes the deficit your current status quo could very well change. nothing in the reports I have seen directly say what government services will be definitely cut, so you are safe NOW, because this isn't the law yet. while I do not live in the USA now, but I did, and if I depended on any conceivable service, service that is even partly subsidized by medicare and or any government funds - I would be very VERY worried. because that service is about to 1) be affected in that service levels will decrease significantly or even worse 2) privatized and become a pay to play service

this is not a joke man - your life is about to become a lot shittier if this bill becomes law.

Doesn't @gonnagro 's kid get insurance through medicaid?

Maybe that's somebody else. I can't keep these broke-back welfare cheat right wingers straight. All their stories are so similar.

Wasted time in school, if graduated, went into military, if not graduated, skip down one line

Discharged with a bad back, receives disability check, health care provided by VA

Kids get SNAP and insurance

Dog keeps having puppies because the idiot doesn't get fixed what aint broke.

Wife left him, took the car and house.

Voted for Trump to keep Mexicans out.

The retired Veterans community is a big group. It would hurt any politician who would vote to pass a bill against them, (well maybe not Sen. McCain).

Also, if its privatized, how will they deal with the disabled vets? Some of them could not possibly handle a play to pay system, their injuries are to extensive. I could see them maybe changing Tricare benefits as they already changed the "Tricare for Life" plan where its no longer a completely free medicare supplement.

In recent years the DOD has been improving services. I can not tell you how stunned I was when I called the VA and actually got a same day appointment. After all that bad press they received, I can't see them backtracking to the way they were about 4 years ago and then removing even more services. I have noticed they are narrowing the choices of medications and making it more involved to refill prescriptions for opiates.

didn't fix the dog.

living on disability but would deny others who aren't making ends meet. This is what I despise about broke back disability conservatives.

She died before she could divorce you.

Anybody who voted for Trump tolerates his racist and sexist policies.

Yes, it's very common for conservatives to favor cuts on other people's services.

Not theirs. They earned and deserve theirs. It's everybody else who cheat.

Anybody who voted for Trump tolerates his racist and sexist policies. - Well you gotta admit those a both very vague terms, but I will admit I have been called one of them in my lifetime so far, but it was many, many years ago.

you know what I mean.

You are saying your benefit is justified but everybody else's is not.

BTW, a broke back military retiree who is living off disability has a huge 401k? I think you are exaggerating.
It is unlikely that a military disability is not justified. You are examined multiple times by multiple doctors. I have been referred to civilian doctors and they concur with the military's findings.

That is not an accurate description of me. I held civilian jobs for the last 21 years, (built up 401k), in the IT industry. I am able to work, so I did. I was recently laid off, (this year), and have not returned to an employed status . . . yet. At my current age it is a challenge to get hired.

fuck an a

Read what I said, dimwit. "you think your military disability IS justified but everybody else's (need for financial assistance) is not."

I'm glad you are laid off. Or else you'd be talking about how undeserving people are of unemployment. I hope you don't get hired because of age discrimination. Your party is the party of discrimination. Suck it.

Like I said, "I voted against Hillary." There is financial assistance I do believe is justified. However, keep in mind, as a disabled Vet I did start a new career and purposely sought out work. I don't believe in free rides but do believe in benefits. Unemployment is a benefit, I collected and I believe others should too. I have fought for people as a manager to be eligible after they've been terminated from my staff.

I don't agree with a lot of Republican or Trump's policies. I especially do not agree with the way he views law enforcement or marijuana. I'm not a Democrat either, thats why I am registered as independent. I had two choices, I remain loyal to the one I chose.
