I put it in the center of the room 2 feet higher than the plants... I see a small change but not much.. Is it sopoaed to disapear rite away? I just dont want my buds to get the pm... Rite now its just the leaves but getting close to the 5 week flowers.... Help... Can some one explain how this sulpher burner is supposed to work?

I wouldn't. the sulfur will clear up any pm.

so you have a dehumidifier...how about air circulation? It is critical in a tight room...or anytime really.

sulfer burners suck imo. jack your temps up. 80-85 lights on, 75-80 lights off. i know it seems a bit high but mildew cannot reproduce at these higher temps. your better off having a little heat stress than having mildew. i would rinse with azamax and water. lowering humidity will help, but some strains of mildew do not require much humidity to survive. just the condensation from going from day to night/warm to cold is enough to give them the moisture they need. keep high temps and it cannot reproduce.

personally if i were you, if you have it bad enough, hate to say this but i would tear everything down and start over. mildew is a serious problem and health hazard. bleach the fuck out of equipment and the room. setup again from scratch and keep temps and and humidity in check at all times. start from seeds and then clone. dont take clones from other people. too many ppl have mildew/pests problems. when you do it all yourself you have much better control over everything. good luck bro!

with proper light intensity and air circulation the sulfur will be dissapated if burnt up till one week prior to chop.

this is a fact.

If you don't have enough light or air circ it will absolutely ruin a crop if enough time isn't given....also a fact.

don't ask how I know this.

How do you know this? ;)

I know they say it breaks down quickly into inert and harmless compounds...But I'm paranoid, especially when part of my grow is just to make concentrates out of.

too much bs hating around here on sulfur burners. You folks just haven't done it right. THese things have been used for decades by experienced growers.

there are few more effective and easy ways to control pm/mold or pests.

You need lots of light and lots of air circulation. I'm not talking led's and a box fan here.

I'm talking 60w/sq.ft hid lighting and no dead air space in the room and regular daytime temps of 85f or so. and it can be burnt up until 4 days prior to chop with no discernible difference in taste or quality.....trust me...i'd hear about it.

if your conditions are less than that add a week or more.

if it's a little cfl grow i'd go several weeks maybe...Idk. Never did a cfl flowering room.

i'm no expert here. Just personal experience. and as far as how I know...yes, I ruined a crop once when I first got it. I tried burning @ three days prior to chop and only had about 40/w/sq.ft.

that sucked. I have no reason to lie here.

Thank u people..... I have 3 18inch isolating fans and a big carbon filter with a nice big fan suckin up... I just need to bring more fresh air from outside.. My humidity is good now exept my temp goes to 89 some times when the lights on.. I do have a big inline fan for my 1000 watt tubes 2 of them. It was at the first or second week i noti ed the powder mold but sice my 65 pint dehumidifier its been way better.now im doing my burn. Every when should i do it? Can i use green cure too?

3 18" fans sounds pretty good. for 2kw. How big is your room/tent?

and sure you can use the other stuff too I don't think it'll react with the sulfur...idk for sure though.. You shouldn't need it though if you keep your air moving and rh under 60
