Sulfur Burned My Plants

So, I am a first time grower. All was going well until I noticed powdery mildew PM. I used half a cup of sulfur for 22x22 area (2 car garage). The plants are in their first week of flowering. I burned it for two hours. When the smoke had cleared this is what I saw. It broke my heart. Is there anything I can do to salvage my plants? Please help. Thank you.
P.S. The lights, fans, co2 burner were on at the time. Also I burned sulfur right after I watered the plants. Dumb I know but the guy whom I trusted to help me did not get into any of the prerequisites. He just told me to burn half a cup sulfur for 2 hours. I feel really discouraged right now. Please help

Ouch, pretty wicked burn, but in veg a plant can overcome a lot, what is she? An auto? Good hearty indica? As long as it's a photo period plant it can come back, light feedings of nitrogen go a long way, I'd give her some silica also plants love the stuff and it seems to help mine in times of stress, if you are the all organic type I hear great things about seaweed solutions also, hope it helps

The plants are a generic OG. I got the clones from a friend who praised them a lot. They were wonderful and happy until I burned the sulfur for two hours. I don't know whether this is residue or what but I can't beare the sight. It's pretty heart breaking. All the hard work seems to have been for nothing.

I'd switch them back to veg mode for a few weeks till they green up a bit, only 1 week in flower shouldn't be hard to revert at all

Yeah I agree I would force veg again for a week let them put on some new green photon collectors and flower again. That right there is a real life burn. Did you correct the issue(s) that caused the PM in the first place?

So Now What?

Conditions that favor mildew formation include dry foliage, high humidity, low light and moderate temperatures. Proactive steps to avoid or minimize this risk include:

· Provide adequate air circulation by not crowding plants.

· Site plants where they will get sufficient light of six hours or more each day. Minimize shade and trim trees and shrubs that block the light.

· Avoid over fertilization. New growth is more susceptible.

Thank you friend. I thought about it but read somewhere that I will risk them turning into hermies and in the process waste another three weeks. I will wait for few days and see if they develop any new growth. If they do then I'll stick with it to the end. If not then I am thinking about getting rid of them and start a new batch. This time I am planning only 5 plants per light instead of 10 to avoid overcrowding, etc. I had already made 45 clones that already have roots and can be vegged.

Bro I got a tent full of trees that came from a plant that was 3 1/2 weeks into flower with big buds on it. Took cuts re-vegged them and now they are big and strong with 0 hermies. I only ever saw hermies from fem seeds and bag seed... Sure they are out there somewhere.

Good Luck

Thank you. I already have one humidifier in the room but I will get another one to keep the humidity in check. I plan on using few plants this time around, 5 per 1000w Gavita instead of 10.

Yes put them back in veg....but why didn't you use epsom salts instead?
Well I am a novice grower and rely entirely on the guy's advice who is helping me grow. Although I told him I was watering when I notice the mold he did not tell me that sulfur and water don't go together. He also did not tell me I had to turn off the lights among other things. So I am completely dependent on his guidance. Well not any longer. I'd rather rely on myself and my thorough research from now on. Blaming won't solve the issue. I
L look into Epsom salt. Thank you.

Epsom salt is both mag. And Sulphur btw....it's amazing for plants.

Yes you can use it in both veg and flower and yes it is a preventative, but you can use after damage as well. There are many many benefits to it..... yes you should read lots and stop listening to your friend.
I don't know if it will cure pm (I've never had it) (maybe because of the epsom?)
