suggetions

a buddie of mine gave me his plants but they are all in a 12" pot.......i cant see what sex they are........he said that they are about 1 month and 2 weeks........what can i do to get the plants sepperated without damage.....

without damage,,,, not gonna happen...a month old..... you should try and pull out the liitle ones and through em away than put your hand over the pot and turn it upside down and let the rootball slide out in your hand, if the roots are really tangled you coyld try submerging the rootball in water and try to gently pull the plants apart while shakin it around alil. prolly will rip some roots but oh well. be prepared to plant em directly after getting em apart and you may be ok, if not start new seeds 1 per pot and you can have that much growth in a few weeks. give em low lighting like cfl lighting not too bright your not trying to grow your trying to get em through shock water em with a light feeding of compost tea or sumthin like that

I have never encountered this before (thankfully), but perhaps you can take a hose with an adjustable output valve and start on one side of a plant, not too close to the base stem and use the hose to dissolve a hole around the plant...gently pulling up when you think the roots are loose. I'd try that on just one and see if it will work for all. Other than that, you are going to have problems not damaging the root systems.

yea if your gonna start over anyway just try you would know if it worked in a day or 2 a week to be safe. just try it and give it a week
