Here's a video chronicle of my progress so far.

Feel free to leave comments/suggestions for improvement on my grow setup, condition of the plants or anything else you see that I can improve upon. This is my 1st time, so I think it looks pretty good!

Note: I just posted the vid, so if it does not play, smoke one and check back in a bit! :bigjoint:

Well RIU fam, this is my very first grow.

I have a 3'D x 5'W x 6'D closet which I am using for my growing space. I was lucky enough to acquire 2 pre-started plants from a friend, which are Grape Ape and Chem Dawg strains. They were about 2-3 weeks old when I adopted them. I also germinated a bunch of bag seeds from the last bag I purchased prior to starting this grow project.

I'm started the seedlings using T12 Agrosun bulbs in my 24" shop light for the veg cycle. I started with 31 germinated seedlings from the bag seed to practice with. Currently there are 18 left due to accidents, natural deaths and lack of space. I'm not expecting much yield from the seedlings and transplanted them into party cups to flower them. I saw the party cup contest and was inspired to give it a try, due to room-separation issues. I'm hoping for half a gram from each party cup, and 1 to 2.5 zips from the 2 big plants.

The flowering light is a 250W metal-halide Agrosun Gold putting out 20000 lumens. I have it about 1 1/2 feet away from the top of the plants right now and they seem healthy.
It's wintery cold where I am, so ventilation is simply a small circulation fan for now. If need be, I can cut a hole in the wall and hook up a PC fan to pull air out of the room along w/ in-room circulation. (also for odor control soon  )

That's about all I can think of now. Any questions & comments are welcome. :bigjoint:

:leaf:Grape Ape and Chem Dawg are definitely females! Starting to sprout the white pistils from their stems, so life is good :bigjoint:

Grape Ape is getting REAL thick, looking gr8, I'm getting excited! :bigjoint: Chem Dawg not as much, but looks healthy and lots of bud sites forming on both. Heading down to take more snaps to post this weekend.
I'd LOVE some feedback folks :wall:

Gotta move the lights around a bit this weekend, as the sm. plant are stretching quite a bit trying to reach for the MH light. I have 4 of the party cups sitting on a tv tray, the rest are in a blk plastic tray under the flourescent light. this weekend, everything goes on the floor. The twins are about 2ft tall, w/ Grape Ape getting very bushy, so I need to spread them out a little from each other.

Confirmed at least 4 females from the party cups

Down to 8 bagseed babies, I think the male dancers are done :hump:
there are 2 more possibles, but the last 6 are definite fems w/ nice sites developing up the main stems. Hopefully I still have time to replant them & get a little more volume out of them after the twins vacate.

As for the twins...

Chem Dawg looks very stretched, the Grape Ape is flourishing under the exact same conditions. I also think the Grape may flower a few weeks sooner than Chem does.

 I am soooooo pleased with the Grape Ape strain, it loved my whole process from start to finish. I may just have to grow a batch of those only next time.

the bagseed was a crap shoot & a learning experience. Anything I get from that portion will be considered bonus. :joint: Looks like about a half to a zip from the party cups and 2-3 zips from the big girls. So 4 zips the 1st time out would be a MAJOR victory in my book. WINNING

They are looking good! Seems to me they might go longer than 8 weeks - maybe 9 or 10 so be patient, and stay away from giving them any nitrogen at this point. You should see a huge boost in flowering in the next couple weeks - excited?

Thanks! I'm using Advanced's Grow-Micro-Bloom formulas, which all have a small % of nitrogen in them. Should I reduce dosage, leave one of the formulas out, or just start flushing now?

And YES, I'm soooper excited!
