Successful germinating seeds from seed banks

hey growers recently theres been alot of talk about seeds not germinating, especially nirvana it seems. how successful have you guys been with germinating seeds purchased online and what was the bank called? what bank do you guys recommend for good seeds that germinate? i want to order from nirvana because it seems the most legit, but i dont know now with all the talk of bad quality seeds.

I have ordered from a few banks and always get 90%+ germ rates. Aside from the occasional bad batch of seeds people may get, I think many germ issues are operator error, not the seed stock.

I've had 100% germination rate on Dutch Passion seeds.

100% germination out of 20 NLxBB seeds. 90% germ out of 10 WW seeds. 20% germ out of 20 Aurora Indica Seeds. All are from Nirvana.

i ordered some shiva seeds from nirvana and ive had about a 85%+ germ rate on them

~85% germination rate Nirvana 5 of 6 started are above soil.

alright, i ordered some early misty from nirvana so i hope i can get a 90 percent germination rate off them

what is the best way you guys have found to germinate your seeds?

Same way I have for 29 years. Soak in a glass of water(luke warm) for 8-10 hours., Then place them in a lightly moistened paper towel, sealed in a baggy kept in a warm dark place.

soak in warm water 12 hours,put in damp paper towel between 2 plates put over my sattleite reciever.

does the water need to be distilled?

i went 4 out of 4 with blue mystic that i planted but kill 3 still learning lol

no, but it doesn't hurt anything either.

bought some lowryders from seedsman and they germd even after storing for a year.

Yes You Might Of Heard Of Seeds Not Really Germinating. But Also Depends On How U Do It. I'd Reccomend The Moiust Papers Towels In A Baggie. I Keep It In A Warm Place. Always Get Good Results

so its jus like place the seeds in a moist towel, fold it up and put it in a zip lock bag and place it next to heater?
