\hi wondering what results have other gardeners had since using super soil, is the yield and grow time anything like hydroponic, EBB and FLOW?

Also any body grow cuttings straight to flowering SOG method (Zero veg time just flowering)

Any Ph and ec fluctuations all help and answers will be appreciated.

I find that i get a little more quantity with hydro but quality is better with super soil. Tastes and smells seem to be more defined with the S.S. Haven't done tried SOG with it yet.
I have never had and fluctuations in Ph i don't even bother phing anything anymore just let tap water sit out a few days and water. I do live in a area with good water though. Do not worry about EC its organics.
S.S grows are by far the lowest maintenance grows ive done with some of the best tastiest flowers.

cheers for the input guys, i am about to do my first plant but as soil is messy and heavy to transport thought it would be better going hydro, but as you said soil is the most forgiving, do you get alot of bugs and insects in soil? what are the chances?

Also i am in uk wondering what is the equivalent soil to ROOTS ORGANIC and FOX FARM

Super soil grown buds have a much better flavor than hydro in my opinion. I tried super soil for the first time about 18 months ago and haven't looked back since. It's easy and produces excellent weed everytime. The only insects I've had a problem with are fungus gnats. They're easy to get rid of and don't really hurt anything granted you don't let them get out of hand. Here's a shot of G13's Pineapple Express grown in Subcool's Super Soil:

Yes supersoil, has a much better flavor in the finished product than any other medium iv'e ever used..

And if you follow it correctly all you have to do is water, no added nutes.
hahahaha shits cool!

I used Subcool's Super Soil (Happy Frog Base) recipe for my first grow. Vortex X 2, BCBD The Purps, GHS Trainwreck, Super Lemon Haze X 2, Tangerine Dream X 2. All vegged 18/6 partly with 225 T5 Fluoros and 1 to 2 weeks 1000W HPS (blew my Metal Halide out) total time 59 days, then 12/12.

Just Harvested The Purps and Vortex. Out of 3 Vortex seeds, 2 were female and luckily I got two different phenos. I believe got one "Lemonade" pheno and one deeply resinous super-crystal "Apollo-13" pheno. The lemonade pheno was taken to day 59 and the Apollo-13 pheno at day 62 which was when they both showed 90-100% cloudy trichomes. I grew them in 7 gallon nursery containers and I had to deal with heat stress and overcrowding. I also did some pre-harvest "sampling", lol. Despite that I so far yielded 41.1g of Lemonade and 37g of Apollo-13 dry and held between 61-65 percent RH with a Bovida 65 humidipak. I have about another approximately 14g of the Apollo-13 pheno almost finished drying. So considering 8 plants, I'm pleased for my first try.

So far even less than a week post harvest they are super smooth and slowly gaining flavor and aroma. Both phenos are very potent, but I would say the Apollo-13 pheno is noticibly more potent. Excellent sativa-dominant, great high. The scissor hash is incredible and I plan on making some dry-ice hash with the sugar leaves I kept. The Lemonade pheno makes me extremely horny. I would definitely say it has aphrodisiac qualities.

The Vortex plants were very healthy despite heat stress and overcrowding, they never hermied. The shade leaves have a beautiful rhubarb-coloured stem, but the colas needed support from above as the branches are very flimsy. I topped them twice and got 4 nice sets of upper growth. The lower growth is amazingly substantial and only the lowest branch had popcorn budsites. I'm pleased with the supersoil, but I did feel that I should've went with 3/4 level instead of 1/2 on my Super Lemon Haze and Tangerine Dream. I've been amending with periodic feedings of Bud Candy, FF Cha Ching, FF Big Bloom and Demerara Sugar and Pro-Tekt during heat stress. Other than that, just plain tap water.

Thumbs up for a fairly easy first grow. All organic, smooth and tasty as can be. I have a very high tolerance and I can say that Vortex is one of the most potent strains I've tried thus far and cut right through with just 1 to 3 hits. Also a nice upper-body high- imagine a vortex sucking your mind upward and backward from your shoulders up. Great auditory enhancement and closed-eyed visuals. Kind of stuff that makes you talk to yourself in front of the mirror and super intense permagrin. Very little paranoia.
