Just a note for you Sub. The reason you don't see a lot of 'tane in CA is because making it carries felony charges (a 'tane maker died in '09 from a BHO explosion, others have been severely injured across the globe). So if you are CA MMj, making 'tane is still prison time. Some dispensaries choose to buy/sell 'tane products, but they are not allowed to tell patients that is it made with butane, legally. The vendors also, legally, cannot tell the dispensary that the "oils or combs" they are vending were made with tane.

Here is the actual law, it's messed up. Even possessing solvent extracts is illegal in CA. And this has ramifications beyond butane, as it would apply to any solvent extracts including non-smokable medicine like tinctures and massage oils. I don't agree with this law just to make it clear. I'll smoke your erl all day! I just won't make it
