Anyone ever use this to prevent insects and bugs in your plants?

What ratio do you use? I was told 3 tbsp a gallon? Does this go in the res or is it a foliar spray?

Ok I did a bunch of researching on the stylet oil and have come to the conclusion that it is great shit. I went to a lot of other similar forums and people use it about once a week throughout the whole cycle. It fights all bugs and fungicides, is part oil so it has great coverage. No smell, no taste, clear, leaves no residue or anything. Lots of organic farmers use this stuff to spray all of their crops. Very safe to use on plants and it sounds like a lot of people swear by this stuff! good luck and give it a try.

One last thing, this is recommended at 3 tbsp a gallon as a FOLLIAR SPRAY!!!! haha I dumped a ton of this in my res last night after my bug issue. Luckily I didnt run the system yet, so Ill be doing some cleaning right about.....now! good luck

Way old post, but 2 thumbs up here for JMS stylet oil. I am in the middle of a PM issue that popped up on day 21 of 12/12, so I treated with a 2% JMS/ 1% Serenade and insect soap as a spreader. I did not find PM for 14 days. I had to treat 3 days ago (day 36) with the same mix because I was starting to see it again on a few leaves. I have only seen 1 tiny patch on a leaf since then. So far so good.....unfortunately I am growing a 70 day strain, so I might not get away with only one more spray....it may take 2. We use JMS very effectively in our vineyards on a 10-14 day rotation. As mentioned above, it controls most insect pests like mites, thrips, and whiteflies, and it also controls (kills and prevents) powdery mildew very well. I added the Serenade to my spray mix to help ease my worries about grey mold. Crossing my fingers...
