Stupid panda

This is going to be fun wrestling this roll of panda film here in the next few days. Trying to determine the best way to hang the stuff. I've read online through forums for weeks and just not finding the solution that suits my needs.
It's a real odd shaped room and the ceiling slants with the roof all over. I've covered both window outdoor walls with the thick foil backed styrofoam board and the rest of the walls and ceiling with Reflectics. It looks great and I was sure to re enforce each staple with backing as well as sealed with foil tape along with all the joining seams. The floor will be lined with pond liner and taped to the wall covering to keep the room sealed from moisture...... But I'd like to line everything nice and tidy neat with panda film. There's only once small section of the room where the veg area will be that the walls will be exposed to the plants and spray Ect. I was thinking of covering everything with panda film, then cutting an exact fit piece to covere the veg area walls and velcroing it in place on top of the existing panda film. So I could easily replace that one piece when needed and the rest of the room walls should last years with just simple wiping down often right?
Anywho, what's the best way to hang this stuff taking in account to how this room is laid out. I was thinking 1x2s across the top edge of the wall but won't that just crack the seal I've been trying to keep, leaving gaps for moisture to seep behind... Idk maybe overthinking but pleas leave your input. Thanks all!

Skip all of the frame your thinking off for the panda film. Get the panda film where you want it, get a piece of cardboard and then put two three stables. It'll hold just fine. So you want wall, panda film, cardboard, staple. The cardboard distributes the pressure so the panda film doesnt rip.

Just make sure you do it with someone holding the role, its doable yourself but sometimes it'll pull the staples off if its holding enough panda film up.

Yea that's basically what I did with the Reflectics. Used skinny strips of gorilla tape under each staple and then foil taped over each spot. But that Reflectics is hung on the ceiling and walls by staples only and I don't want to just staple more weight to that. Might pull it all down. The Reflectics is extremely light. Panda film not as much.
mabe I can do what you said but then also add a few strips in select places to keep any of it from falling down.

And about that last part, yea I predict the exact same struggle. It will be just me unfortunately. Kind of why I was thinking just to cut the film in ceiling to floor lengths and then staple the top edge to a 1x2 while it's on the ground.. and then I'll be able to pick that wood up and attached it to the wall in one piece.

I think I have a good idea on how to do it. But I have a tendency to over do certain things so I wanted some feedback.
I feel like this panda film should last a few years on the walls. There's only a small section of wall that will be near any plants and so I think I'll make a small piece of film to fit that section of wall and Velcro it in place so it's easily replaceable.

How I did it is that I folded the edge over itself twice and then stapled it. Held much better. The 1x2 sounds like a solid idea if you want to go that route but you kinda have to be careful if you in a colder climate, space in between the film and wall will usually have condensation which will lead to mold if not vented/dried. Of course this happens in temps where its below freezing.

Yea that's what I was worried about. Glad you said something.dam I mean there will be a small gap between the Reflectics and the panda film either way I hang it... Unless I go around and seal the entire room with panda film top to bottom covering any wood strips and staple holes.. Seems like a lot of work. The room will always be above 60 degrees no matter what.. But condensation is still possible. Brb I'll get you a pic of the room now... Almos done with the Reflectics... I suppose I could just leave it alone at that

You can see where I stapled spots. I've not finished foil taping over all of them yet. Still have more wall to cover too. This was done mainly to help regulate the temp in the grow room. Compare the pictures to the drawing and you'll be able to see what the layout is going to be. Any other tips welcome!

If you have a solid layer of paint I doubt that there will be major issues. But never could be too careful now days, could possibly ruin a crop if your not observant! But it looks like you put in a lot of time and effort, looks good!

Pandas are known to like eucalyptus leaves. If you can find some and bring them into the room it might calm the panda down.

I tried getting my panda real neat but eventually said f it. Nothing was cut straight or in solid peices but once it's all together and stapled it looks good. Looks like you have a little more aspiration though for it looking good. So far so good!

Yea I have the annoying slight ocd that I have to incorporate into everything lol. I think I'm gonna run a few 1x2s across the wall and ceiling just to make sure the Reflectics won't fall down when the panda film weight is added to it.
Then I'll apply Velcro to the wood strips and space them out across the wall and ceiling and then cut the panda film into workable strips, and Velcro in place working it around the 1x2s so it hugs the Reflectics and doesn't leave a gap in between. Then taping the corners and seams as a secondary measure to make sure moisture doesn't escape through to the walls...
But a thought I'm having is now that I'm encasing this room like this, I'm hoping the condensation from outside and the Windows doesn't cause any mold problems behind the Reflectics. I kind of vapor locked the outer wall and Windows. But this is the only room I'm lining upstairs. Gonna jus roll with it.

I'm trying to make sure I get the ventilation right. The room is less than 800 cubic feet. The flower area is in a 4x4 grow tent and the veg station open in a 4x4 area.
You can see the rooms Exaust hole in the wall by the doorway. There's also an intake hole next to the veg station.

I was thinking a 6" fan just inside the Exaust hole in the room blowing out and pulling air from the flower tent.. Then another 6" fan hung above the veg area pulling air from that Intake hole and across the plants and then blowing into the intake of the flower tent.
A 4" fan will be blowing cool air into that hole in the wall and into the veg area.

Is this enough ventilation do you think...
Trying to simplify things without spending too much more $

In a perfect world id like to have an 8" fan and carbon filter exhausting the whole room and not attached to the tent. Then a 6" fan exausting the tent into the room. And a 6" fan as an intake for the room near the veg area. And then I shouldn't need to do any extra circulation for the veg area. But fuck I'd have to spend another 400+ on a phresh 8" filter and 8" duct silencer and vortex 8" fan.
Hmmmm decisions... I want to do this once and want to do this right.

You want to exchange the air in the room completely every 3 minutes. You can take the rooms LxWxH and divide by 3 for the CFM rating. Whatever that number ends up being is what you want your Inline fan and filter rated as.

If you buy the correct CFM rated fan for the exhaust the negative pressure will pull fresh air in through intake without the need for an intake fan. Since you have a tent in there it's throwing me off (it's 7am here and my brain isn't functional yet) as far as cooling a tent inside a room being ventilated. Will have to ponder that ! Lol.

I would think you could exhaust the tent into the room since the air will be exchanged anyway.

You could consider ditching the tent and dividing the room into a veg side/flower side? Many have had success with this but ofcourse it requires a little more work.

Hopefully someone can come in and elaborate more!

Hard to tell without being in the room but it'd be cool to extent that veg cubbie with drywall or something connected to that wall in pic 2. That'd leave you with a veg chamber from that cubbie to the other end and a slightly larger flower room on the other half right when you enter. Obviously a lot of work but maybe something to consider in the future!

Lol i gotcha. Yea I would concider not using the tent at all because I planned to build a divider panda film wall anyways because the tents aren't quite lightproof. The only thoughts I had about keeping the tent is that it would contain the light very well reflexting more onto the buds than if I ran the flower area in the open room.
My room is shaped weird. I'm kind of estimating it to be around 15x9x6
The ceiling is sloped, the room is not square so it's hard to round off but that would make my estimate at about 810 cubic feet? Idk
But here's the thing, there are 2 other a/c vents upstairs. One in the storage room across from the grow room and one in the bathroom in between these two room. So I think I should go for the 8" fan existing the grow room. I'll just use a 6" fan turned down to Exaust the tent into the room and then just leave the intake as passive. i just was thinking adding an intake fan would help bring some of the cool air from the other vents into the grow room.
