Stunted growth from PAR level?? HELP!

So my grow is about 35 days in. I've had some issues with finding the right height to hang my light. At first it was low and I had some bleaching so I raised them about 5 inches. But my growth has been really slow for the past week or so. I thought it was from the nutes at first but once I backed off the lights it has started to correct itself but the growth is very little. It says to hang at 24 inches for veg which is the height I have now but still not resuming regular growth patterns.

Can you have too much light in a space? I have a 300 watt UFO in a 2x2x4 tent. 7180 lumens at 24 inches. Par at 260. Are these good numbers?

Ugh please help. I really need this grow to be successful. I couldn' upload pics but here are the specs of my grow

300 watt UFO with IT and UV with 3wat cob in the center. 133 actual draw. 5 small plants in half gallon pots. (2 in air pots). I have 2 white widows and dark angel and two sour diesel haze. Water every 4 or 5 days and on 12 12 schedule for the past 2 weeks. ALSO NO SIGNS OF PRE FLOWER OR SEX YET.

Also I have noticed that a few of my plants have some slight mutations. If that helps any!!?

Half gallon is pretty small. You may have some root issues. Are you in flower? Maybe you want 12/12 too soon. They aren’t ready. And they may need more h2o. What nutes are you using?

Yes you can give too much light but have to agree from a distance with the poster above. I hear root issues.

Also, a plant wont flower until it is mature, so if the plant is only 35 days old it wont flower yet. So dont start counting flowering time yet just because its been on 12/12 for 2 weeks.

I agree with the comments above about container size and the size of the light and age of the plants. If it was me I would repot all of those into 2 gallons and veg longer in another space. Then I would put one plant under the UFO to flower (possibly after repotting it again).

I'm using the flora trio plus molassis.

My tent is in my closet in my bedroom. But I leave the closet door cracked and have the air hose running out and clean air sucked through the bottom half. I crack my window in my room during lights out to get fresh air so do you think it' the 02?

The white showed up in the center of the new growth when the lights were at about 18 inches. Which I thought was a little odd since it' not really that close so could it have been the nutes? I have flushed since then and only phd the water on the last watering. I plan to do nutes every other watering. Ya it might be that the pots are getting roo small. So I should transplant now? The thing is I have 5 plants in a small 2x2 so I don' want them to get too big. What should I do? Can I prune to keep the roots from exploding? I'd like to keep as many different strains for variety. Looking for a good strain to help with some medical issues.

If the light is too intense, you'll see them wilting halfway through the cycle.
Since they already responded to you pulling them back, leave them there.
Half gallon pots are gonna stunt your plants no two ways about it.
Plus in that size you probably need to water more than every 4/5 days.

I understand wanting to get as much as you can from your space. And wanting variety.
That's hard to do efficiently in a 2x2. Even harder for a first timer.
You can get better yield from two plants with room to grow than 5 squished all together.

Keep that in mind for next time.
There's not a lot you can do for this time except lower your expectations, or cull 3 of them and pot up the best looking ones.

If you post pictures we can help you better.

OP, this was the reason for my above advice. As a newbie or first timer, I feel like you doing 5 plants in a 2x2 is going to be exceedingly difficult if not impossible. This is why I mentioned vegging them in a different space if you can. You might be able to get away with (4) 1.5 gallon pots SOG.

I'm still a noob too, but I tend to do 1 plant in a 2x2. Can you get another 2x2 Or maybe a 2x4? If you can veg those other plants in another space, you don't need to blast them with an entire light and let them get to be large, a few led bulbs with diffusers cut off will keep them alive.

(Edit: but they WILL get large if you leave them too long)

Sooo.... I def figured out that the slowed growth is due to the pot size for sure. And the lights were not what caused the yellowing. I overfed which is now under control and I am transplanting as soon as my soil is dried up enough. Also my girls started flowering today saw my first white hairs coming out so were all good. Just need to transplant.

Thanks for all the advice!! I am going to lower my light back down a bit and keep doing what I'm doing. I may just toss one if I feel like it's going to get too crowded. I'd rather have good growth and healthy plants then try and cram them all in the 2x2.

Your still gay for trumps peanuts ;)

You think a 133 watt ufo with low watt chips is good, you use one. Go for it. Op is complaining about slow growth, small shitty lights do that.
Ya i def want to upgrade my WHOLE set up for my next run. This is my first grow that I will finish to harvest. Don' ask. Lol but ya thanks for the advice..
