stuck seedlings

first post!

Since growing up to four plants in Canada is now legal I thought it was time to give growing cannabis a try. I've spent the past month reading and consuming everything I could on this site and I think I have everything I need for a fantastic grow. Hopefully.

I purchased northern lights seeds because I was told they were an easy to grow strain for my first time around. A friend who works for a licensed producer helped me germinate five seeds in rockwool and three seeds popped in three days. it took another day for the other two to sort of pop, but the cotyledons were stuck in the rockwool like a lower case "n" and stayed that way for three days. My friend suggested I persuade them out which I did, however the cotyledons are were extremely yellow.

I only wanted four plants, but planted five to increase my odds. I think one of them is a goner. It's all gnarled and looking sickly. The other seems okay and is starting to put out its serrated leaves. Do you think there's a chance the best of the two could still make it? Also, is it normal for the cotyledons to get stuck in rockwool?

sorry about the crappy pic from the security camera. Capture.PNG
