Stringy buds and no smell!!!!

New poster here. Longtime grower. I have some stringy buds that are new to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's a crossed strain of Hawaiian Snow and Purps. I'm wondering if it's because of the cross strain between an indica and sativa. All hydro. Been flowering for 2 mos now.

I just harvested a plant that looked like that,it was from some bag seed so I have no idea what strain it is,I have 4 clones growing from it now and want to see if they bud the same,I never seen buds like this before.

I know, they look really freaky. They smoke really well. Everyone loves the smokin', but what hell is up with the extraplanetary look? hahaha

That description of the high is right on. The look is the same too. With this splice, I was going for the fast grow of the Purps and the supercool high of the Hawaiian Snow. Genetics is a powerful thing.

I had buds that looked just like that, mine were Barney's utopia haze. They just wanted to keep budding, but each bud was just a bunch of these strings of calyxes all bunched together. And I was just in amsterdam and dr. grinspoon looks just like that too. It seems to happen with pure sativas. Maybe your plant took on almost all sativa traits and isn't really showing the indica part of her genes.

But for the original poster, I think those buds just need more time to mature, they may not end up looking like mine and flying dogs
