Stress Induced Fems To Produce Seeds.

I bought some expensive ass fem seeds which I rarely do because I like to have the chance to make my own with regular seeds. With fems you pay, say $150 for ten fem seeds and have no backups once their gone so what I want to know is if the genetics are “top notch” and you light stress the plant to produce seeds would the stress effect be hereditary in the new seeds also causing them to produce unwanted seeds even if the genetics are top notch?

I would research rodelization techniques. It results in femized seeds and the seeds will be fine unless your plant carries hermie genes to begin with. LOTS of "top notch" expensive seed packs are prone to hermie.

I don’t think stressing a plant will cause it’s seeds to grow herms.

it would be much easier to just spray cs or sts though. Just have to do it once and sacrifice a couple grams worth of bud and you’ll have hundreds of fem seeds.

Maybe so but not everyone lives in a house where they will have tons of space for clones. Some people live in tiny apartments in cities and don’t have the luxury of space.
I understand but you can keep a clone in a closet with a 12 watt led till you need cuts
I guess if you search hard enough you can always find a way it can’t work
Good luck on the seed run

Thanks. I didn’t know about rodelization or that there was a spray. That’s kind of funny to me. Pollen in a can? LOL!

Not quite, although there are pollen chuckers out there, but you'd have to trust that they are accurate in genetics. CS or STS will make a female produce pollen. If you have the option i would re-veg, clone and treat one of the clones. Or re-veg and treat a branch and let her get herself.
