this is my first post here, so I'll do my best to be as clear as I can
So I have 8 Berry Whites that have spent 5 weeks under 4x2ft t5 from clone. They are in coco and have been getting fed house and garden- cocos A and B, multi zen and root xelarator. They had been doing amazing, nice and bushy- good green no stretching. Well last week my partner got anxious about our new flower room that we've been building and took them out of the veg room and into the flower room- 4 1000w hps raptor hoods. I was not only concerned with the lighting shock but also with the fact that the air cooled ducting haven't yet been installed, and northern was our AC unit. Bad bad. Anyways- the same day he also watered with one gal per plant vs 1/2. The plants are in 25 gal smart pots. So case in point- they now we're getting double the water, causing double the nutes. 1/2 gal wasn't producing any run off.
I got there the following day and was very upset because the plants were starting to look super sad. First it looked that a cal/mag deficiency- green veins turning yellow in between- but it wasn't mobile (aka it wasn't coming from the bottom on the plant up) it was just random- actually the bottom leaves looked nice and green. The room had hit 83 and there wasn't a fan in there
that day the AC came in and we hooked it up on one side of the room. Next day all plants looked worse except the plant not only closest to the AC but also farthest from under a light. Now all the plants started "tacoing" and "clawing" but only at the top to the middle. So my first thought was lights are too strong. I turned all the ballast' from 100% down to 60% and moved the happy plant to the other end of the room to see what would happen. I also started adding 5ml of cal/mag per gallon. Next day plants still look like shit
so I went and got two MH bulbs. (Btw we have 4 lights but we're only running three)
Yes I PH my RO water- between 5.9 and 6.2. I've also checked the ph of my run off. Solid 6 which I'm happy with.
After doing all of this and letting them be for a few day they look a little better but not by much. Halp!
