Strawberry Cough Test

This journal is basically a test of a strain I have never grown before. I am testing it 5 gallon bucket with Miracle-Gro moisture control with Fertz time released in it 0.18 - 0.10 - 0.10.

Miracle-Gro 24-8-16
I also add 1/2 tsp of of Miracle-Gro all purpose plant food per gallon of water in the first two weeks for foliar spraying.

1 Tbsp per gallon all the way threw veg untill flower time then I up it a little every watering until I see a little tip burning, at this point I back of a 1/2 tsp. and I am set.

The water is not PH, I don't know the PPM's just doing it just like a true out door farming.

All this written down in a log so that way when I take this grow out doors I know were to start from my testing of this strain indoors.

By testing this strain indoors this way I can hopefully get an idea on how it will react and maybe traits that are unique to this strain. After all you don't want to learn this out on the farm with 100 of this growing.

For every one that wants to know they were in veg for three weeks from clone. They just went into 12/12 on 1-16-10

This plant is just of the chain every time I take a look it just growing like crazy I lowered the light to try and slow down this plant, but the next day it was touching it, it is a good thing that room is AC with an AC unit pushing cool air threw the lamp fixture.

the node stretch is only 1/2 to 3/4" spacing but it did jump a foot in two weeks time under 12/12 light.

The nut is still the same but I bump it up every week, I don't know PPM or PH I just add nut and go. This is how it would be in the real large out door grow.

I am still foliar feeding every morning and washing off every night.

The last pic is all 4 plants that are blooming

hey man that looks great I just sprouted a strawberry cough seed today she will be a mother plant for me for awhile. I have never grown this strain before so I'm very excited to follow along with yours to see how she turns out and when she finishes. I will be taking clones from her as soon as I can and soon as the clones root they will go straight to flower. I am doing a small closet sea of green style hydro grow. keep it up man i'll be watchin

Here it is week three and I have had to tie this plant down to try and slow it up a bit.

As you can see from the pics how close it is to the 1000 Watt Hps. I don't want to move the lamp unless i see some damage do to the fact the other plants AKA White Rhino is shooting up fast and the Affy's are just getting fatter.

I water this plant with a Tsp of MG and 1 ml of Ginormous per gallon every other day, and just water with Ginormous on the off days.

This plant is showing some signs of being a heavy producer.

The first pic you can see the leaves want to reach out and touch the light. It is crazy.

Here is my weekly update on this plant, I don't know what to say. Every thing I have read about Strawberry Cough is not applying to this grow.

I read that it was nut sensitive and to not nut it hard. (1800ppm)

It does not like a lot of water. (1gal a day)

It has a low yielded does not grow very big buds. (2" around on the main three colas and it still has 35 days left)

I will also be dual harvesting and re-vegging this plant as well to get some clones from it.

I did not expect very much from this plant in the start, but it has caught my interest.

Sorry I'm a little late on posting this week, I was out of town picking up 200 cindy99 clones.

My next grow will be a test of 8 plants 4 using AN nut vs. 4 using HN nut all in DWC
side by side in same grow room, same light, same space.

This plant is going very well, I have upped it food to 2 tsp per gallon of water very feeding, no problems at all. it just keeps getting bigger and fatter. I hope it hits as well as it grows.

The last pic is what was popcorn bud last week, but like I said i upped the nut and they took off.
30 days left until chop day.

Here is the newest pics for week six and the colas are getting fuller every time I look at it.

I can't wait until I chop this one. LOL

The last three pictures are of a neighbor that asked me to buy his plants because he was getting out of the grow biz, he used to tell me he had been growing for close to 20 years:roll:

If your plants look like this stop, you may need to relearn what you have been told is the right way to grow!!!!!!!!!
This is a sad looking 3.5 ft plant if I every saw one.
