Straw smell

I haven’t been able to find any info on what to do if you get or grow a bag of weed that smells like Straw. Does anyone know what the best thing to fix it?

Its probably weed that wasn't really grown that well and thus has no real good smell to it. You can't really do anything to make it smell any better it would think. Maybe the best would be let it cure with some orange or apple peals.
That hay smell could come from plants that were picked early, wern't that healthy, maybe no nutes used in grow, etc. etc

Iv heard people mention this before and im pretty sure curing it well will get most of the good smell and taste back, just read up on the best ways to cure it and dont rush it. Im sure it will turn out fine

well if you bought it you can wrap it in apple peels to add moister so it won't be so nasty

From what i've read, it's normal for the buds to begin to smell like straw or hay during drying. Once you begin to cure, the smell should go away.

Believe it or not some bag seeds are just shit. Most bag seeds usually don't have the characteristics you'd hope for in a strain. You'd either be lucky or have to go through a lot to find something good. My first grow was bag seed and no matter how long it stayed in the jars it smelled like hay and tasted like grass. Even the weed that I work with now smells a bit like hay when it first begins to dry but you can still smell the skunk/what ever the weed will smell like later.
