strategic nutrient profile timing for different life stages

Can i get please get a little information from some truely advanced cultivators in nutritional timing during different life stages I'm not new to this by no means so i don't need grow nutes for veg, bloom for flower but more along the lines of low nitrogen during begining of photo flip to reduce stretch and when is best time to for adding this or that during flowering i understand making certain nutrients more available during certain times of flowering can substantially increase yeilds with perfect timing or decrease yeilds giving to early or late can some one please give a more explanotory description of when and why to increase or decrease certain nutrients during flowering in an optimal environment. everything is fully tweaked in the lab lighting, co2, undercurrent dwc i just need a detailed breakdown of tweaking the nutrient regiment for flowering
thanks in advance for any help

Any decent 3 part nutrient system will give you your best results. I do not drop my nitrogen levels at flower, stretch is not the issue healthy plants are. The second week to the sixth week I use an enzyme like Sensizym, this will keep your medium happy and healthy. Cal/Max is a must for my system on every second feeding. The last 2 weeks before flushing I will drop my 3 part by half and begin feeding a smaller dose. I am currently trying a product called Overdrive in those last 2 weeks also to see if it actually works. My records allow me to scrutinize these products and tells me if it is worth the cash or not. Don't go buying shit that you don't need, start with the three part and create a base line that you can compare too when you want to use any of these additives.

Thank you for the info i guess i should have asked my question a different way i understand good base nutes is all you need to grow quality and iv been doing that well above average for years but at a certain point your only limiting factors once everything else has been perfected from total atmospheric control to proper lighting and hydro system is going to be additives. keeping specific additives names out of your head as if the don't exist what is it you need to add and when pertaining to all of these additives out there i feel that if your not running everything to the max your plants won't won't utilize additives very well any way but my plants are being ran to the max i guess kinda a weakest link in the chain kinda thing does what I'm asking make sense?

I have added overdrive to my nutrient solution and can tell you for sure it is a noticeable difference. Usually around the end of week 5 flower production starts to slow and the stigmas begin to wilt and turn orange. This is still the case for the flowers that have developed so far but the key difference is that a number of new flowers begin to form at this time as well. What you end up with is bud that is half ripe and bud that is perfectly ripe in the same nug but a greater increase in yield. I found it hard to judge when to start my flush because the new flower growth was so tremendous. To combat this, right before harvest i put them in a 48 hour dark period not 72 because I saw that it tended to encourage mold growth on flowers that were more mature than others.

1. If you 'feel' you have to use additives, then you made a poor choice regarding your primary plant food. Homebrewer did a test using clones and various foods reported via a journal with final bud weights and photos that Dyna-Gro's Foliage Pro, 9-3-6, produced the most yield on a green and happy plant kept that way until harvest.

2. A high N food from start to finish will induce a finer plant with more yield,

3. High P foods promote stretch,

4. Don't fall for the cannabis forum hype and paradigms such as flushing and NEVER use bloom foods. They have no merit.

Overdrive is another snake oil product from a company that preys on noobs. You really don't know what you're getting but a lot of hype about ingredients said to help a plant kick into overdrive but have no merit. And the 1-3-4 NPK is a path to reduced yields and a disaster.

But go ahead..... buy, use, and find out the hard way.

Good luck,
UB
