Strange phenomenon or genetic mutation?

soil-less mean the media dont contain soil. lol ;-) any media without soil is considered soil-less. now there's some active medium and inert. coco is «active» media cuz it contain often micro organism and nutrient while hydroton are «inert» media.

what u have n what I have missy is peat moss pine bark and vermiculite...no soil...just looks like soil

Potting soil used in your mix? Your growing in soil.

No potting soil in your mix? Then it's usually referred to as a hempy bucket mix.

Example: Vermiculite, Peat moss, Perlite @ 1:3 ratio is considered hempy. And, Ocean Forest is considered organic soil, because it contains living microbes (and potting soil).
Is this right?Soil MixA potting medium consisting of a mixture of soil, sand, peat, leaf mold, or other ingredients. Also called potting mix.Soilless MixA potting medium that contains peat, usually perlit or vermiculture, and, sometimes fertilizer, but no soil.

From my understanding, that is absolutely correct, sir.

Coco is inert. You can grow those micro organisms in it.
I used the lucas formula which was deadly to the microbes.
