Thats great Thor!! Really wish you snapped a pic! My triploid is doing fantastic...for only topping her once she has SO many bud sites...I'm super excited to see how she finishes!!

I went digging through some old pics. It would be nice if there was a thing in your profile where you could look up all of the pictures you've posted in one single place. I've had plenty of pictures but I usually delete them after I post.
Anyways, here's some of the best shots I have of the widow. You can't tell its a triploid at all from here, but it really filled out BC it had really tight node spacing and so many branches/bud sites.
And actually I don't think I circled it all in the middle pic, that fan leaf to the left looks like one from the widow. I was told the plant had the "duck foot" gene when it sprouted BC it only had 1 leaf (and 2 cotyledons).

Thanks for digging these out for me Thor...appreciate it! My triploid has the crazy tight nodes and insane branching as well...in some places it actually looks tangled!! Was yours slow to start blooming? Mine is def doing her thing but it took about 2 weeks from flip to even see hairs...and she was def mature and ready. I vegged her for about 2 months it seems and she was alternating nodes for a while...I was actually holding up on the flip because I was trying to clone her!! Maybe she isn't going slow at all...but next to another one I have she does...but this one in particular exploded when I flipped. Maybe she's just going super fast and making the others look bad?!?!

So...my cabinet project...If I use fiberglass insulated ducting, will it help reduce noise from air movement. The fan I'm ordering has great reviews. They all say it moves some SERIOUS air 400 CFM...but they say the fan itself isn't unreasonably noisy but the air moving is quite loud...anybody have some input on that for me?

My ballast doesn't make ANY noise...AT ALL!! Didn't realize they were supposed to.

I have one of those fans too for my veg tent. not loud at all I run mine on a speed controller at about 60%. even at full blast I can still hear the ballast fan over it

What kind of ballast are you running that it's THAT loud? I'm renovating a large computer cab...got a dimmable 400 HPS cooltube...the actual flowering area is about 4' tall by 4' wide by 2' deep...trying to keep this as stealth as possible so I don't want too much noise. Since you have one yourself...do you think I should use the insulated ducting (it's not THAT much more expensive) or just go with the ordinary cheapo stuff?
I would say no you wont need it

Ok...cool...thanks! I just thought...my ballast MAY make some noise...but the circulating fan I have set on full blast blowing through my cooltube is loud...I'm in a ghetto box right now and have no exhaust...so I'm improvising while building my stealth cab

I went the cheap route with my inline fan. I got this 240 cfm http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003YFADW8/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 And even though I can only hear out of one ear, I can hear it outside and it is in my garage loft. It sounds like the neighbors dryer vent (can only hear the air coming out of it). I will be curious to see how loud you say that one is as I will need to up the cfm for next summer.

So I'm thinking that tall stretchy plant I have is rootbound? It hasn't thrived like the other two, and when I water all three equal amounts I'm getting a significant amount of runoff from the stretched out plant and very little from the healthy two...transplant in flower...here we go...
