you should be working your way up in pot size thru veg w no nutes... not dropping a seed in a 3 gallon pot............when you do that all the roots grow at the bottom and outside of the pot.........you say its light as a feather but your roots are sitting in the only wet spot in the pot.......when this grow is done and you pull it out the pot bust the root ball in two ...youll see.........as far as watering goes wet dry cycles are for soil less grows... organic you water everyday or every other to keep a consistent moisture level

Makes sense...but I started in a pint size pot and moved into maybe a quart size...Im not even in a gallon yet. I'm using soil that has no nutes and the two times Ive fed Ive given only a fraction of what it calls for. I'm watering about every three days but not saturating soil. What do I need to change?
