Do you have to be so detail oriented? LOL...to answer in one word...NO!! LMAO!! I have to take out the "drop ceiling" that's in there for the lighting it had in...take out the "bottom" of the top piece...take out the "top" of the bottom and sacrifice my "would be" veg space in the lower portion...more work

I don't mean to be so detail oriented but I seem to be having the same problem. I vegged to long this time and I am quickly running out of room. You might be better off waiting on these girls and letting them finish where they are. You only have a few more days right????

Its not going to fall apart on me Woody, it's built quite stout and all the weight is in the bottom section with all the drawers and shelves...I'm not gutting it all the way down on the inside...going to leave what it needs for support...the top was virtually an empty shell anyway (except for a plastic media storage shelf)
TRUST ME...I've NEVER done this before...it'll be just fine

I just flipped them 2 weeks ago!! LMAO...got more than a few days to go
I'm only having height issues with the one...so it may have to finish in my closet (or a field somewhere)

No...I hear ya Woody. I want to do this the "right way" for sure. Keep in mind my light IS dimmable...but I've seen somebody on here doing it with smaller dimensions than what I'll be working with, and getting pretty nice results. It's a large cabinet...bigger than what I'm doing now.
I have so much to do to get it finished...doesn't seem like much till I talk to YOU! (LOL!!) But it's ok...it'll get there
