Strange fix for a strange problem - rapid fan leaf death while flowering

I'm posting this up in case anyone runs into a similar problem as me and is as completley stumped as I was.

So here's what happened.

I had a friend with a plant he was giving away due to landlord issues, which I happily adopted. It wa2 weeks into flowering when I got it and not terribly big. He was growing it in quite possibly the shittiest set-up I've ever seen; a 23w CFL dangling right above the plant.

So here's my set-up;

2x 90w UFO LED
8x23w CFL

I moved it into my setup and gave it molasses and bloom nutes as suggested with a pH of 6.

The leaves started drying out and falling off while still green, overnight I'd lose 1 or 2 leaves.

I was like: "wtf?" All the new growth was a nice deep healthy green and it was growing nice and quickly. It turns out my fan was too close to the plants and the moving air was snapping underdeveloped weak fan leaf stems off of the main shoot, all the new growth is thick and good-looking.

I moved my fan back 3 more feet and now it's fine. :shock:
