Strange Cloning Experience

Recently i tried my hand at cloning, bought a dome and tray, along with some CFLs. I took 8 cuttings from multiple plants including nirvana's bubbalicious and nourthern light. The only thing i should have done different was use different rooting hormone, i just used some really old stuff that probably did nothing. My results were 25% success rate. So just to see if it would work; after about ten days i took the clones that were not rooted and were still green and cut them at the next node and re-inserted them back into the rockwool. I didnt think any of them would take. I sprayed them about three times a day, and none of them would root. So i kinda ignored them and didnt spray them for about 1.5 to 2 days and three more of them rooted, I was amazed! i didnt think this would happen. It was almost like because i didnt spray them they used there roots too absorb water from the rovkwool instead of their leaves. I was also excited that some of my nirvana's bubbalicious took also.

I just took some clone cuttings a few days ago from a Mater Kush. I took the cutting from around the 4th node down and then split the bottom of the cuttings and put it in some root hormone and then planted.

No idea if there has been any roots yet as its only been a day or so....really hoping they will take.

Havent had much success recently.

i have found that if you keep them too wet they won't root i just spray once a day and only spray the inside of the dome not the plant at least thats my experience i do spray the plant the first day just once

You would think that keeping them too wet would be a problem since you can grow them in a cup of water, but apparently it is.

i think it goes somthing like if the leaves have plenty of water from misting theirs no reason for it to grow roots it can sit in water but if the leaves are to wet...:peace:
