i will write down the ones i have not seen and watch them.

my recommendations for tonight.....

'blue velvet' david lynch is one of my favorite directors

'naked lunch' another cronenberg film. books better, yet the movie is awesome.

'men behind the sun' japan did some crazy shit to the chinese. based on the unit 731

the evil cult with jet li is hilarious.

hello. i am a fan of movies (more so horror and mystery/artsy/dreamy) as i am sure many of you are. like the tittle says, this is about strange movies and worse. ;)

i know a lot of posts have been given to movies. but, they don't cover my needs and or vibe i may be looking for, although this may just be stoned ramblings. i do have some recommendations and would like to know what others think are twisted and/or bizarre.

for today, i would like to recommend.

'eXistenceZ' by david cronenberg. cronenberg is a fucking awesome artist. strange movie. makes me question reality on a certain level. see it if you can.
revolves around a game that merges into your neural pathways in the spine. it brings you into the games reality.

'antichrist' by lars von trier. strange movie. i like william dafoe...but there is some fucked stuff in the movie. everyone should see it. some very graphic sex but its not set in a pornographic manner. revolves arond a couple who lose their child and how they deal with grief. still not sure what i think about it. not for the faint.

'the forbidden zone' by richard elfman. awesome movie. has danny elfman as the devil. mystic knights of the oingo boingo provide the music in this curious film. it revolves around....dimensions....hard to encapsulate this one.

if you can see any of todays three....see anti-christ. i would like to hear others feedback on the movies. or if you want to recommend something else. or wana talk about how stoned you have to be to watch all the 'guinea pig' movies. hahaha

I know it's typical but Evil Dead II is the greatest of all B movies. I can watch that movie over and over and over and over and over. Army o darkness is good but it no Evil Dead II. Nothing is!

Last House on the Left, Don't Look in the Basement, Wait Until Dark (Audrey Hepburn rocked), Texas Chainsaw, Monster From the Black Lagoon, Chiller, the Blob (lol), In Cold Blood.

The old ones still scare me.

Edit- Well the blob didn't scare me, but had to put it out there.

requim for a dream is a fav of mine as it hits very close to home for me being a recovering junky and all, but a very very good movie, the ending is fucking depressing as balls, but a good life lesson..

I'm about to watch a movie that i wanted to see like crazy when i first heard of it and then completely forgot about.. 'Antichrist[/I]' with Willem Dafoe... looks messedd ill tell you guys show she was after.. lol

so some more movies. tomorrow i will put up a list of a load of random stuff

1 'cannibal holocaust' wild fucking movie

2 'a scanner darkly' philip k. dick is one of the best authors ive been able to come across. very good movie.

3 'synecdoche new york' interesting movie. eraserhead was mentioned earlier. that in one of my top 5 favorite movies

Cannibal Holocaust is indeed pretty messed up. There are many movies like that. Same jungle cannibal theme. Same animal cruelty.
(you know those were real animals in CH right?)

Yeah, so hey Antichrist was just absolutely fucked.

Really, really fucked. Kinda artsy w/ some very twisted shit happening in certain scene's and um yeah.. i don't recommend to the squeamish that's for sure. lol

The first scene was brutally well-done. And the same for the rest..

Theres one scene whilst they're driving up to the woods and shit happens (i wont say what,lol) along to the music. freaked me the fuck out. ha

A Scanner darkly was so badass. great watch. def. worth it.

And i just saw Coraline the other day w/ a couple friends; definitely an odd kids movie. Didn't catch the whole movie though.. just the last half or so... lol

How about Blood Beach From the late 70's. Monster in sand. Monster bites teens dick off. the next day little kid finds the bitten off dick . My favorite horror movies always have some sick comedy in it.
