two years ago, my first grow I bought ten Northern Lights seeds from Kind Seeds. I only knew about them from the Jorge Cervantes video on youtube,. I'm now an Attitude fan.

No matter what i did, these Northern Lights plants would not die, My PH was all over the map, sometimes they were underfed sometimes overfed and they just grew and grew. With my future grows I found out that all strains are not all that easy but have developed a feel for what they need and I have asked for help here as well when I'm stumped.

I germinated the last seed from this batch that I bought two years ago and it's twice as large as my other strains.

For new growers, what has been the easiest strain for you to grow,
I'm about to place an order and would like this fall's crop to be an easy one
Thanks

I learned on an Afghan strain. It was the most bulletproof strain of all time. I could screw it up bad and always make the thing survive. Not thrive mind you. Survive.
There were many times the plants were struggling. Or rather, I was struggling. The plants did fine. The best example I can give is this.
I had a couple clones in a DWC bucket in a small area I use for cloning into veg. I had a HUGE mite problem so I shut down the crop in the room. It was all I could do to get rid of the mites. I shut down the lights, fans, pumps, etc. I used bug bombs all over the area and cleaned up really well. I sort of forgot about the mid sized plant in my little hidey hole under the stairs. I figured it would just die and that would be that. The light was OFF and the door tightly sealed. The roots were still in water, but the water was not aerated or anything. The bug bomb was tossed in and the door was shut. There is no way the mites could survive. They were all killed by the insane amounts of pyrethin (sp) in the air and on the plant.
Anyway, 3 weeks later I opened the door and there was the plant. 99.9% dead. The only thing left were two tiny places where there was green shooting out of a branch end. I stuck it back under a light and babied it for a short time and it came back to life. The little shoots got bigger and bigger. The rest of it was dead, but that part revived.
Yup, Afghani. 3 weeks with no light and stagnant rotting water. Back from the grave.
