Strains for Sleep

I’ve always wondered, does the strain/cultivar matter if you’re heating and converting the flower for oil/edibles?

I believe it does. Every harvest we do a run in our magical butter machine, each harvest is a new strain. We've noticed a BIT of difference from strain to strain.

I've often wondered if the Magical Butter Machine can decarb cannabinoids, MBM tells me no. To activate the THC the bud has to be held between 240F - 260F for 30 minutes. Since the MBM never heats that high it won't decarb the bud. Decarb before extracting.

Your right it matters cos its not just thc that matters each plant has its own cannibinoid flavanoid and terpene profile tbh theres alot more than this at play but this is just a simplification and everything together matters as we all know thats what gives each strain its own personal feel /flavour that carrys over to extracts and edibles imo too

I've always heard that Romulan is a clone-only strain. Where do you find seeds for this strain; it's on my list to have for sure.

After much deliberation I`ve decided on the following strains for the next 3 grows. All of the strains are couch lock so I decided to group by size:


Grow 1
Grand Daddy Purple
Purple Urkle
Romulan
Purple Kush

Will only stretch a couple of inches so if it`ll veg out to 14``-16`` I`ll get a fair sized indica. Ive already germinated the GDP and PU, Romulan, Purple Kush.

Grow 2
Blueberry
Chemdawg (may swap this strain out for a more sedative one)
Mother Of Berries
Skunkberry

Grow 3
Unknown Sativa
White Widow
C99
New York Diesel

Grow 4, so far
Bubba Kush
Grape Ape

I always thought it was a nice day smoke. Wasn’t bad on the munchies and didn’t seem to put me to sleep. Got some clones of it growing right now. I’ve always had Barney’s BC though, so I’m not sure if the one you’re talking about is the same company.

The Purest Indica from Authentic Genetics that I just harvested is one of the heavier indica's that I've ever smoked. I've only been smoking it a couple days but each night I have smoked a decent bit of it I've been asleep in a couple hours and slept like the dead. Looks like good insomnia meds so far.

I’ve never grown it, so I’m not sure if it’s shorter, I just know it’s a heavy hitter and great for my insomnia.

95% of those strains I have NEVER heard of.

Pillow book by bodhi is a good indica strain for sleep. I haven't popped my seeds yet but the reviews say it's a good sleep strain.

Mob for sure was a great sleep strain for a friend of mine who suffers from PTSD. He said is the best sleep he had gotten. Who did u buy MOB seeds from THSeeds?

Blueberry hashplant was a nice pain strain, I couldn't believe how it made me feel

I got them from a small Canadian seed bank called Pacific Seeds.

I just harvested some Purest Indica from Authentic Genetics and it has been really great for insomnia so far. Very heavy indica with a crash at the end making naps and sleep much easier for me.
