Strain suggestions for a vertical grow? ++REP

For my next grow I have decided to try out Heath's Vertical Grow (google it. fucking amazing!) My problem is that I can't decide what strain to go with. I need a strain that is primarily indica (short 12-24" tall), with a short to medium growth cycle and a good THC % (18-25%)

I have looked at a ton of seed sites trying to find what I am looking for but they are so fuckin inconsistant as to how they rate their seeds. Nirvana at least makes an attempt. Attitude is worse and Speedyseedz is totally fucking retarded. Doing a "compare" on Speedyseedz is like trying to compare apples to cheeseburgers. Frustrating as fuck....

Anyhow....I would really appreciate an assist with this. Please respond only if you have actually grown the strain from seed to smoke and know for sure what the end result is.

I'm a big fan of DP powerplant, it grows very uniform and has a nice cola with four side branches that grow upto about 4 inches lower than the cola. My friends always asked for it. If your loking for a bushy indica, maybe one of the mazari strains would intrest you.
 
also DP powerplant is easy to grow, easy to clone, and manicuring is a breeze. i grew it for a couple years, and will again in the future

PPP is a knock-of of DP powerplant. just like most strains, theres an origianal, then other breeders pick up on it, rename it, with a similar name, and add maybe alter some of the genetics. DP is the origianl powerplant
 
go with GDP..they always stay short and bushy..the bushiest plants i've ever personally grown..the buds are off the hook to im sure u already know that tho
 
pretty high id say no lower then 18% and up to 25%..good to average yield with dense purple nugs..it likes the cold to so if u got high temps dont grow it..or do..it will just grow slow if its to hot
 
possibly..id look into it..i never have to do mail orders i got a dispensary right down the street from me that delivers clones and they always have 20-30 different strains at a time :bigjoint:i fukin love cali

Lucky bastard! We got a ton of dispenseries around here but they only have a few strains and none of them are suitable for my plans...
 
yea most dispensary's in my area usually only carry 3-10 strains at a time except that one place that has 20-30strains all the time..and its a delivery service 2 so that makes it even better..i think its hella sick cuz if u dont like the clones (which u will) u dont buy it and u dont waste gas
 
Hey Warlok thanks for the input. I have looked at several auto-flower strains. I am just not sure how tall they get. I found several skunk hybrids but skunks really put the air filters to the test. I grew some skunk #1 in my attic years ago and my neighbor could smell it when he mowed the lawn between the houses and that shit wasnt even in flower yet!

Any suggestions on a good auto-flower strain?

Man I am so jealous!!! I gotta move to Cali.... lol

Our dispenseries out here are pretty much in their infancy. For the most part they are doing well, but they are still working out the kinks and trying to line up solid suppliers. But you can tell that they are all still looking over thier shoulders just waiting for the trap to slam shut. Legal or not....

It will be nice when everyone gets settled in and the right-wingers start blaming every car wreck and shoplifting on the marijuana scourge! :finger:

I'm in Colorado. They pretty much copied the Cali laws but the real problem here at the moment is supply. Seeds are impossible to come by and clones are pretty rare. In my area anyways...
