Strain Recommendations..

Hey all,

I've been looking around for a strain to grow but there seems to be differing or insufficient information on the websites I am visiting...here are the details..

This is my second grow, so I'm looking for something beginner to possibly intermediate
I would like the plants to grow no bigger than 1m high
Yield is a high priority, so the thicker the buds the better

I appreciate the input, thanks all!

There are several sites I know of that have great, member submitted reviews with great descriptions of of the strain, visual traits, smell, taste growth expectations (height yield), etc. and cover both Indoor/Outdoor varieties. They even give THC values. Unfortunately, I cannot post links on here or else I might get banned. If you search through MJ websites, you'll easily find them.

The biggest problem is when acquiring seeds, there is no "proof" that what you order and what you get are what you thought you asked for. For instance, a "Grandaddy Purple" from one seedbank might be totally different from the same name at another seedbank. There is one seedbank I know of that sells their own genetics, no one else. Most sell a variety of breeder's genetics and are merely retailers. I would rather get mine directly from the actual breeder. This one has been doing it since 1974!

A word of advice, if you are asking for recommendations, include what medical symptoms you are trying to target, this way people can offer the strains they have experienced either by themselves or a spouse/friend found relief from. If you just want high yield, easier to grow (more forgiving), target higher Indica %-age when choosing Hybrids, for sure. Sativas in general, take longer, are harder to grow and yield less. Besides, the first time you grow one out that produces really large leaves, you'll be blown away when you see those leaves that are almost 2X the size of your hand!

i would go for Nirvana "Ice" regular seeds or Delta 9 lab's Stargazer. I have 1 stargazer girlflowering outside, she is not gonna be very tall, smells like mentos and fuel and packing on weight around week 4 of flower.

Nirvana's Bubblelicious is a top quality indica! Very short plant with a medium yeild. It has great bag apeal and will smell to high heaven! Their wonder woman strain its a big producer of fatty buds, and if topped a few times, will remain short and stalky

Based on your info you want an indica or indica dominant strain. There are several that come to mind Kolossus from Sannie's seeds, Kosher Kush by Reserva privada, Holy Grail Kush by DNA Genetics, Rock Lock by DNA Genetics, and LA Confidential by DNA Genetics. The DNA genetics and Reserva Privada gear can be ordered from Attitude, probaly Herbies Headshop, and probably Sea of Seeds.

Confirm that bubblelicious is a solid strain, you wont be disappointed with that...However 1 m high plants, big buds, you definetly need some pure indica or indica dom hybrids...Many of the serious seeds strains grow with that structure (chronic,bubblegum,ak47...) so check them out (pyramid seeds seems to have a better version of the ak, closer to the original)...DNA of course, but i would stay away from og strains (low yield)...And mrnice, ortega, nl5xafghan, critical mass...just to mention some...big buddha cheese, yeh cheese strains may be a good choice for you...and stay away from unstable genetics of shitty seedbanks...peace

Awesome guys thanks for the input. I don't purchase seeds online at all because I've heard of people having issues with customs seizing..plus I'm a little sketched out by being tracked. I have a retailer near me I purchase from who orders from specific seed banks, I'll take a look based on your recommendations...thanks again!
