is it possible to clone a strain out of its unique taste?', pretty sure that's what I've done....the strain is "Pig Fucking Rhino"..it has so many genetics in its breeding,i'm just worried, that its gone forever....unavailable from originator....still real potent...just taste, not what it was....its in its 3rd year...

We had the same thing happen with our one Diesel cut bro. But it kept the flav and lost some of it's potency. We figured out in the end that we let our moms get too old before replacing, too keep it up there clone for new moms max every 8 weeks and rather keep lots of moms around than one or two huge ones. We'll let the first ones (from seed in other words) go to about 16 weeks, 8 weeks to mature and then 8 as actual mommies.

Not much you can do but look for a new one I'm afraid.

Hope this helps in future.

this "mother plant" you talk about....I am too small to retain a mother plant, for any length of time....from clone to harvest,is a 6 month trip for me,with 3 dedicated chambers, geared towards SOG,there is zero room left....crap..i thought there might be a way of "reconstituting"the strain...oh well...thx fer yer input Kush...

So you simply take your clones, then flower the mother's...then repeat process with the offspring?.
