Strain and number of plants in a tent question

Third grow. Second with good genetics. Going to run chemdawg and banana kush. Last grown ran three 5 gallon pots soil for 6 week veg. Averaged almost three oz a plant. Any tips for these strains. Also thinking of going from 5 gallon to three gallon for a four week veg. How many should I do if I do that? I know I won’t yield as much per plant but thinking the extra plants would make up for lost bud.

What kind of space do you have? Lights?

5x5 tent that’s 80 inches tall. 1-600 watt hps/mh and 2-1000 watt bestva leds (cheap ones).
Last grow I did three 5 gallon pots and had a lot of room even after the stretch. I did ilgms gg4 fem.

You should be able to 9 plants in there easy in 5 gallon bags.

That’s what I was thinking. I think I can do a shorter veg with smaller pots and fit more in there. I don’t know much about the strains I’m about to grow though.

Personally you couldn't run fast enough to interest me in Chemdawg again. At least for a,while. Hermie deluxe from supposedly great genetics. It's oversold. I have not seen seed of BK from a reliable breeder in a while but that stuff rocks.

I’ve never had either. I’m pretty new to this still. I had to stop smoking in 2014 lol so I e had a lot of older strains but not many new ones. Ilgms seeds that I got I’m pretty sure weren’t legit but after curing for only 4 days was some legit fire!!! I’m curious to try these two.

I should have made clear I top multiple times and supercrop from the start. That's why I place the SCROG when I do. There's more than a set way.

I also top and fim my plants. That’s why I usually go 6 week veg. I’m strongly considering depending on the dimensions 10-12 3 gallon smart pots for a four week veg. Hoping with all the lighting I can top them at least once or twice before I flip. I also used a trellis net but sadly is caused me to lose some very large colas last time

Consider supercropping to get similar results without slowing down the plants growth.
