Hello I have one strawberry cough plant growing in a DWC with a 400 HPS and a fan blowing right on it I use Peters professional fert 20-20-20. I put about 4 scoops (4 tablespoons) for 3 - 3 1/2 gallons of water and change it ever 2 days. I was doing 3-4 day changing the water but it seemed my plants were getting a nitrogen defficency as there was major yellowing. I trimed the leaves that looked beyond repair andwaited a few days but still it appers new my plant is still yellowing. No idea howlong its been veggin for as i decide to flower by height. Iv grown plants before but this is my first stabb at hydroponic's so any help would be greatly appreciated.

go buy or order real hydro nutes you are over nuting with the peters . you need to switch to a different nute so you can control the amounts of n-p-k also you are over feeding plus the fungus on the top of the roots is from light

ps: ph is 6 ish.... Dam i didn't know these neuts are not meant for hydro..what is the main difference between hydro and reg neuts? The box says its water souluble but like you said it doensnt mention hydropoincs.

also my meter doesn't measure PPM but it does measure EC. Can EC measure accurately the amount of ferts in my water?
Alsoif im over feeding them should I be giving it less or should be just changing it less often or both?

give em less until you get some hydro nutes. then when you get the hydro nutes use the reccomended amount on the bottle
