I don't mind being identified as a Liberal, in fact I'm a card carrying one, as so many Americans fear and loath, I'm one of the people their daddy warned them about. What is a liberal, many don't really know, in the end it's about the broad sweep of historical and political progress towards the rule of law, the US constitution was the quintessential liberal document, especially the bill of rights.
