Looks like things are shaping up just like they expected. Could get over 2 feet here in coastal York county easily. Stay safe everybody. Fingers crossed for power staying on.

What Storm ? Captain Nemo ? I just love the way they freak out everyone ... especially when they use words like "Epic Proportions", or better yet, reference a year that did give Mainers some of the white stuff .... but these pups were not even a twinkle in their daddy's eyes ! Just starting to snow here in Waterville at 7:11 am. Stay safe, and also I hope that the power stays on throughout "Captain Nemo !!" Thanks Tet as always for starting a thread. Perhaps this will draw some interest back to the Maine forum :-)

Yeah, we'll get a bit more than expected this morning. Not really related to the storms themselves. It's a phenomenon we had a couple weeks ago so I looked it up. It's called a Norlun trough, and we could get several inches along the coast this morning instead of just the light snow they expected.

Remember when we used to have weather like this much more frequently. When the snowbanks were taller than a vehicle! We're due.

I did some breeding, and some seeds popped today.

I was trying to come up with a strain name for NH Chronicle C4 x SSSDH.

Thundersnow!

roads in portland suck, and the people on the suck more. Seems when it snows no one remembers how to drive. Good luck out there

Governor in MA has banned all traffic statewide after 4pm. I intend to observe it here in York County ME. lol

Doesn't appear to be too much here in Waterville this morning .... kind of hard to tell with all of the drifts. Have to make a 40-Mile round trip twice today and will be taking plenty of time in making those 2 trips. Shouldn't be too bad as they are both Interstate driving. Stay Safe everyone !!

The drifts are unreal. no snow in one spot, 6 feet in the other. Pretty cool to observe I just got my car out finally!!! I may venture to hannaford to cook homemade meatballs and sauce!
