stop growth, growing too tall

Seems a random thing I admit but my plants are growing too tall, not stretching just won't stop growing.

I vegged for 3 weeks and have now been budding for 3 weeks. They must be 80cms and seem to still be growing, will they continue to grow or will they start to slow and concentrate on budding?

I used a metal halide for the first 3 weeks and been using a hps since. They are starting to bud nicely but are still growing and i am running out of space, any ideas?

many thanks

Did you change your light cycle to 12/12 or are you still on 18/6?If you just changed the bulbs it'll keep growing.

If you did change your light cycle then they will shoot up about 1/3 total height then pretty much stop and focus on resin and buds.

I wanna say there is some additive that slows vertical growth.
Bushmasters makes it I think.

I vegged for 3 weeks, and grew very tall. seems (of my 2 grows and reading) it should slow alot after 3 weeks but wont stop fully growing up till around 4 weeks. if your too close to the lights try slightly bending them over near the top and fixing them with garbage ties or something
why would you only veg for 3 weeks? Thats how long dwarfs veg for.

kept those within a foot of my 400w hps, i grew the same bagseed last time with cfl's and they did the same thing, just freakishly tall sativas has been the common explanation
