i dont think the lights are going bad, i just think they were really stunted bad the first 2-3 weeks by being so cold. Thats the only thing that changed. At least i hope the lights are not going already. Those things were expensive. The next change Im making is doing away with this box and going hps in a metal cabinet. That way i can easily break things down without any problems and it will be way stealthier than this clunky thing.

Tell your Wife I did mine DYI and have that much plus some in my cabinet. If your thinking about hydro you won't be able to do the straight up grow like you have been. I'm doing a DWC 12/12 from clone and those suckers just shot through the roof.

still waitin on those piks of the lst haze... so bonzi... is it just because it is dwc/dro that they stretch so much? i am just recently making the swith to dwc from soil... for reasons like faster growth... i am curious if i can "tame" the stretch from some hawain super skunk with my lst techniques... hummm....

Try the Hobbes CCOB method or similar. Top it for 2 colas and let it veg. Pot it up and train it around the edge of your pot or bottom of tomato cage. The key is: once trained, only let it veg another week or so, so that the once and former side branches now think they are tops, and then flower. The main cola end will turn up and stretch a little but most of the main meristem stretch energy will be diverted to/among all of those smaller branches.

My first chronic I flowered had no training and went from 8" to 25" during the stretch. The siblings I veg'd longer, trained, and then flowered. The trained ones will likely be shorter than 25" and have many more (even) tops.

I think if I had topped them like their soil sisters there would not have been as much stretch and vice versa for the soil. These were both gen 1 clones and those seem to strech more than more mature clones. The DWC buds are looking pretty shabby, so I may chop and make hash. if they start to thicken up I may let them go but they are starting to swell and recede.

hell yeah bonzi... was this your first dwc setup?
rasputin.. preciate the advice.. hell, lol.. i.ll even give you rep for explaining it correctly (for the most part)... but i am very familiar with just about all styles of training... hell i have even tried some experimental shit of heavy defoliation that turned out superb... but thanks for the info, and if i hadnt known about it, i would be all over it... hope you take no offense to this comment, because none was meant.. im not a know it "all", i just know "most"...
