What is god?

Is god just a metaphor for a natural universal law? Not as a supreme being or someone physical but more as a deep mathmatical scientific equation, sort of like how e=mc squared can identify gravity

all gods were created by man to control the masses

True, but I'm not talking about "god" in a religious sense more in a spiritual. I can't even really label what I'm trying to get at though lol Fuck it man Im wasted
