Hey bro, haven't been around much but it looks like things are going good for you!

As to the discussion on pH and organics... I can find you some valid sources if you want but if the plant has a healthy rhizosphere, which you are building with the teas, the rhizosphere with adjust the pH of the soil to improve uptake when needed. The beneficial organisms also help out A LOT when it comes to nutrient availability. You can also add dolomite lime, as I'm sure you're aware of, both in the soil mix and you can also top-dress the stuff.

You're generally not controlling everything in organics, you just supply the environment for the microorganisms to thrive, and they will do a lot of the work for you, converting nutrients into usable food for the plant.

Ok here we are with the babies looking real nice and healthy i will be transplanting them sometime this week but i have a few questions for you all..

Should i go ahead and put together my soil mix whitch would consist of:

Bone meal
worm casting
fish emulsion
perlite
bat guano

Or should i just leave the soil alone as it already has in it lots of things like

Perlite
lime
peat moss
kelp

Or if i leave the soil alone how would i apply the tea and how often?

My tea would consist of

Earth Juice set-up
blood meal
fish ferts
worm castings
bat guano
mollasses

The soil alone doesnt seem to have many nutritional amendments. Perlite, drainage. Moss and lime for ph. The moss does help with drainage as well. Go ahead and add all that stuff. Be sure to research how much to use. I would hold off on the feeding if you choose to add all the good stuff. Worm casting should give good microbial life, bat guano and fish emulsion should give a complete balance of food for a while. I like maximum 30 percent perlite. Dont forget to account for the perlite that is already in the soil...Your soil should start things off and the tea isnt necessary for a while, let the lime set in and let everything come to a balance... basically, let the plants take the transplant and feed off the soil. Give some tea after a week or so after the transplant.

If you decide to leave the soil, add the tea immediatly after transplant. And every week or so if desired. Make a large batch of tea as it will last about 10 days in the fridge. Stuffs gone bad when it stinks to all hell....like a stinkbudd.

Thanks for the info and well put so even a nut like me can not jack tis one up much appreciated..
You can make your soil too hot, meaning too nutrient enriched. Go and look around at like subcool super soil and other soil recipies. Or simply search up "how much bat guano in soil mix?" This should give a good start.

So here is the deal, i decided to go ahead and top these ladies and before you guys beat me down let me tell you why. I am going with a longer veg and larger pot size this grow and i will be doing a good LST on them as well i want to maximize my bud sights on this grow but in doing so i dont want a lot of popcron buds as ive been ending up with so if i can keep an even canopy with the two plantsran in a pot over 2 gallons in size..So here is a pic of the topping job i did and i did keep the tops as clones...:blsmoke:

by the way i only topped the Kush;s Midnight and Sour...

Looking good so far Stinky lol! Hope those Earth Juice nutes work out for ya, I didn't like em. Most are still synthetic too. The Grow one is esp a bitch to work with I thought.

Here is a lil update from the home front as stated they are now 27 days old and friday night i went ahead and topped the two Kush girls just because! No not really just because but the real reason would be that i want to attempt to do a good LST on them useing many tops. So i toped at the 4th node and when i got back last night they had already shot out a couple of nice shoots for me to tie down..

Here are few pic's of the before and after with the Kush..By the way as always if anyone notice something that would be better doing please feel free to let me know and also let me know if LST'ing is ok being done after topping this way?

I forgot to mention also went ahead and transplanted into the new 2 gallon buckets last night..
